Will this show be airing again. It airs on cartoon network. But it's at 1:30AM Saturdays. It sucks to watch it this late. It would be better to watch it on Miguzi or Toonami. Right after JLU. Perfect Timing. _________________ You came from the sky, right! From up there. - Unknown. Might be from The Gundam Series.

First I've heard of it.
Though I wouldn't be surprised if, some time in the distant and hazy future, it happens to come true. But not this August.
Until then, file it under "wishful thinking". _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

Yeah, alot of fan sites claim to have proof or an actual schedule showing Destiny playing in Seeds current slot in late august. Besides the cartoon network website, are there any other ways to find an advanced schedule? |

Considering how often CN changes their schedule? I HIGHLY doubt it. _________________ anime is teh s uck

See thats what I thought. I honestly hope Destiny is not shown on Toonami. The whole scope of the show is going to be far to indepth and graphic for those Y7 kiddies. |

I think the era of giant robots on Toonami has just about passed, unless the new Transformers series pulls a miracle out of its shiny metal ass. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

But don't we all love those giant robots which most of the time are impossible to make in real life??? I think that everyone I know that likes anime, likes giant robots. How can they do such evil like not show any more giant robot anime? |

Considering the trend in recent Transformers series (trend being that they suck more than a black hole) I don't have high hopes for this one. _________________ anime is teh s uck

Well sure, WE do, but the general audience apparently doesn't, judging by the ratings performances of recent BSR shows, crappy or non-crappy.
* SD Gundam Force- sucked, rerun to death
* ZOIDS Fuzors- sucked, died quickly
* Megas XLR- ran its course, shuffled to Miguzi and promptly died. Not renewed
* Gundam SEED- bored the non-"gunota" audience away, shuffled off to the death slot and continues there
* D.I.C.E- sucked, removed from the block
CP's covered the "Transformers" part rather well already. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

The last I heard, Bandai man Jerry Chu stated at Sakura Con that they were just pitching Destiny to CN. It didn't say specifically whether CN accepted it or not, but if they did/do, I wouldn't be surprised, since the idea is seemingly inevitable.

It's way too early to determine the August schedule. The farthest we've currently gotten is July 3rd.

Adlink and Zap2It are the most popular choices. _________________ Toonami visual schedule - UPDATED AUGUST 2, 2015 |

Well, yeah, I agree with you Nobu, the recent giant robot anime sucked, except for Megas, and a little seed (I don't like it though, too much love and cries). But remember the good old days... |

i personally liked zoids fuzors a little, i think they coulda had better characters, and changed the plot a little and it woulda been a lot better. Megas was hilarious, and unfournately the good parts of seed really couldnt of been shown without major editing, and i really hated sd gundam force, because i think they cheapened some of the ideas that gundam represents to me. |

Recent Mech Anime has been geared to younger and younger audiences. Personally, CG Animation in mecha just turns me off completely except possibly for the Zoids/Zero which frankly I enjoyed. They are ruining the reason Mech anime is popular. Anime was once famous for the care and unfathomable amount of detail put into technology and most importantly mecha with traditional hand-drawn animation. With CG it makes everything look cheap and cookie-cutter. The other trend in mech anime is the shameless fan-service shows like Gravion, Divergence Ever, which suckage is only surpassed by the cup-sizes of the characters.
With SEED and SEED Destiny cramming the air waves other companies have shifted from doing mech series. There are a few noteworthy exceptions, such as the comedy, Overman King Gainer. Another great series airing now is Zipang and while it's not a Giant Robot anime it's got enough technical eye candy and story to keep any mech head tune-ed in. _________________ Bang. |
