That link really doesn't help explain their shipping policies, that it does not. 
I usually get things in about a week.

No, I haven't had to... yet. I've only ordered books, CD's and DVD's.
But your customs office is different than ours. I can't accurately predict what they'll do, but I can't imagine them charging you with a larger tariff for that kind of stuff.

Why do you need to use Amazon.co.jp? Isn't it the same corporation as Amazon.com?

To buy Japanese things that neither ".com" nor ".co.uk" doesn't carry, of course.

| for it to be sold "in america" it needs a us distributor, same goes for UK, it's one thing to order something from japan its another to have it distributed from there. It's easier to make an exception than to make a whole new rule. |

| hate to WORK at that warehouse... it would be ginormous and impossible to find anything is a decent ammount of time. |

Some huge warehouses are automated. They have robots that read barcodes and grab items for you.
All the humans have to do is tell them what to get and they go find it.

If we could BuIld a larGe enOugh robot, it would take only a second for it to reach out and grab anything. Hehe, words inside words are fun for referenceing stuff.
