Post subject: Is the old toonami better or the new 1?

i think the toonami they showed b4 the 1s that showed on satarday r more liked by more mature viewers because it had nice shows that were sorta serious and had a lil bit of violence like yu yu hakasho, rurouni kenshin, and draganballz. i think they put it on saturdays later on at night b/c smaller kids would like to c their kinda shows earlier. so wat do u think? _________________ y so ez pk? |

I think that if toonami is going to stay on saturdays, it should not be any later because a lot of teens don't have their own TVs, like me, and if my parents go to sleep, they dont let me stay up at night. |

Well that is why I am saying that that time would be perfect because CN doesnt want young kids to watch violence, so after they go to bed, toonami goes on. (Parents don't really care what time we go to bed once we are in high school, as long as we wake up and go to school the next day) |
So you can stay up as late as you want during the week, but can't during the weekend? Sounds bass-ackwards to me, either that or you are contradicting yourself.... _________________ There is limited intelligence in the galaxy, but the stupidity of the universe is infinite. |

I feel both lineups have their pluses and minuses. I love Megas XLR. I think that is a great addition to the Toonami lineup. I do miss Dragonball Z. I am hoping that at some point DBZ will replace one of the lame shows in the Toonami lineup. I'd like to see Dragonball brought in as well.
I do like the Saturday night timeslot better than the old one. It will hopefully allow CN to air uncut episodes of shows. I would like to see Toonami get another night (Friday or Sunday) so that we could see more shows in a closer time frame. I really don't like waiting once a week to see some of the Toonami lineup. They should repeat DBGT and others at a different time in case you miss the show or in my case, forget to tape it. _________________ Opinions are like A$$holes. Everyone has one. |

Duel Masters, Rave Master, and Gundam Seed don't float my boat. I'd like to see them go. I imagine though, CN will get rid of the shows that are not pulling ratings. Of course, I can watch Dragonball and DBZ until I go blind, so my hopes are a little biased.

Hey, I actually don't think they are doing that bad a job right now... It could be better though. _________________ LOVE & PEACE! |

I'm fairly happy with how things are going, pretty much the only thing I would REALLY like to see is more new interstitionals. |

For your sake, i hope you're joking. Gundam Seed is just now starting to get interesting. If you still dislike it after the episode 29-35 arc then you need to be drug into a back alley and shot. _________________ I'm getting too old for this. :SNAP: OH GOD, MY HIP! |

It seems as if everytime Toonami makes a change people wish for the time before it. If that was correct than the only time at which Toonami was liked by all was the very first day it aired. So using that logic is Toonami gets progressively worse the more they change it then by now it should have no viewership and be the most hated block of programming this side of Prime Time on the WB.
Except it's actually the highest rated and most watched block for it's timeslot among its target audience. So your opinion matters not. _________________ Bang. |
