i just wish my man yamcha could get some respect...i mean, the guy has to fight jackie "master roshi" chun, tien (when he was the main antagonist), and kami in his three tournament losses...talk about bad luck, and sadly, it only gets worse for the guy come dragonball z...
that nonwithstanding, i'm really liking this tournament...mercenary tao's return was interesting enough, krillin looking respectable was a nice change of pace, and the recent fight between tien and goku was one of the best in all dragonball-related anime i've seen...can't forget the whole chi-chi thing, which has been nothing short of hilarious...
it's nice to see a series actually getting better as it goes on...

I love when Chi-Chi was latched onto Goku's arm and he was like "What are you doing? Is that some sort of attack? C'mon, get off, you're restricting my movements. What are you DOing?" I was cracking up histerically. And I actually pictured myself as Goku and my girlfriend as Chi-Chi and it made it even funnier. Try it. Trust me, it's a hoot.

she leaves sometime in the Dragonball manga, during Goku's teenage years (between the Dragonball and Dragonball Z TV series)... where and under what circumstances, I've never been able to find out, but she makes a cameo appearance at the end of Dragonball Z, during Goku's fight with Majin Buu, along with that dog king guy (King Furry, I think they called him) from the beginning of the King Piccolo saga, and both Bora and a grown up Upa (my Native American peeps from Korin Tower), and Android #8 ("Eighter") and a grown up Sunow... um, and the monster dudes that Goku had to fight the first time he met Fortune-Teller Baba... and, supposedly among many sources (though I don't remember seeing it myself) Android #17 (who will also make a return appearance in DBGT)...

I was looking though this one site(that doesnt exist anymore) but they had stuff edited from the first eps of DBZ, and one of them was of Lanch sitting in a bar drinking and another one of her showing up at Roshies house and Tein and Chosue being there.
Other edits:
Gokus body didnt disapear when piccloo shot him and radix
Same with Picolos and Yamchas during the fight Vegeta and Napa.
There was even a scene of Goku going over and checking Picolo for a puls to see if he was still alve. So Im sure there was some like funeral secens we missed out on too.

I heard that Lunch didn't show up much in DBZ because Toriyama forgot about her.
