Andre the Giant was indeed in the movie, and yes, he rocked - he was actually surprisingly awesome in his role

Probably had something to do with the fact that he played a large, dumb, strong guy.
Note to the estate of Andre the Giant: I'm not saying that Andre WAS mentally inferior, but he sure did sound like it! _________________ Krogoth uses Berserk.

thing is though, he played a large, dumb, sweet, strong guy who actually wasn't all that dumb if you rewatch the movie, he just talked really slowly and sounded like he had six bags of cottonballs in his mouth.
