I'm not sure if this belonged in the game thread, but this info is so drastic it deserved its own topic....
As you all know. G4 and Comcast bought out TechTV....well now the final nail in the coffin has been placed...

I've never had Tech TV. Wish I had, but I never did. I feel a loss in what could have been, but not a loss of what had been.

With a name like G4, and G4 being a product of a company who I'll only buy MP3 players from and even then they don't look as nice as the latest CD and minidisc players.... You know what company... The fruity company... ...How can this station NOT be evil?

| considering all I watched on tech tv as unleashed it really doesn't bother me too much. I hope that g4 takes that craptastic anime unleashed idea and actually makes sense of it.. you know.. by making a block called anime unleashed but leaving the fucking show names intact so somebody can know what show is on when. |

| Nooo! My favorite channel (next to Cartoon Network)is going away because of a really, really, really, really gay company bought it out. They had so many good ideas and other things you may want to know (like modding the XBox). And Martin's show kept the comedy up. They also had many educational shows like 'The Tech of', 'Conspiracies', and more. Stupid G4. It's so fake. All they do is show crap. No wait. "Crap wrapped around a stick mixed with more crap and stuffed with crap made from crap that's crappy crap crap and shoved in a toilet found in a junkward....that's covered in crap" crap. |

| I haven't gotten this channle for prolly a year now. But is still ROCKS! What the hell were they thinking??? The Screen Savers used to be my favorite show ever, when I had satelite. BAH...Damn you to hell Comcast, I hope you go bankrupt.... |

When you think about it, TechTV could very well come back. My father(who i consider a VERY wise person) thinks that it is very much in teh realm of possibility. Grab a few nerds and it's back, maybe not as good though.

Yeah Tech TV was tight...even though I never had it...
Anyways, yeah I'd watch it at my friend's house every once in a while.

Well...after some information gathering it seems to be a fair balance on both ends...more or less....
TechTV has it's entire staff fired, yet 100 of them can apply for rehiring in Los Angeles with G4....
G4 fired half of it's staff with no chance of rehiring at all.....
And, according to http://www.g4techtv.com/faq.html, the situation isn't as dire as first prospected. Hmm, G4TechTV......that's gonna take some getting used to.
