Square has released the first screenshots from Seiken Densetsu for the Game Boy Advance, which is in development at Brownie Brown. Originally released on the Game Boy in North America as Final Fantasy Adventure, this remake will upgrade the original's visuals and include new features. A number of people who have worked on previous games in the Seiken Densetsu series will be working on the project, including the director of The Legend of Mana.
Seiken Densetsu is scheduled for release in Japan this summer.

sorry, but I refuse to buy a game where I would (if I didn't already have it, not that I own a GC anyway) need to purchase a gba to play it. On top of that, buy the console/gba link cable. But that's just in order to play it one player, you would need a friend with another cable and gba to play it two player. Way way to much extras to invest in to warrant buying it. So, let's tally the minimum and the maximim cost it is to play FF:CC
one player: game ($50) link cable (10-15 lets just say $12) gba ($60) = $122
four player game ($50) four link cables ($4 four gbas ($240) = $338

here's one, it's from october, I read one more recently I believe confirmed it, I'll look for that one later.
Square continued its string of announcements during this week's company conference by releasing more details on Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicle. Four GBAs can be connected at a time, one for each player, enabling simultaneous play. The GBAs will display health information for the player's character and only for that character, as status info will not be visible on the main screen. This is aimed at making communication and cooperation essential between the players. Whether the GBA will be the only way to control the game remains unconfirmed, but it appears to be necessary regardless.
