That left me completely speechless. I know that there are some others here who watch it so what did you think.
And is the show going to be continued by the rumored farscape anime series? _________________ Look i changed my sig!

I thought the series died a long while back... who knew. _________________ The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself? |

I stopped watching after the first season, not becuase I wanted to, but because I ran out of time. I loved it because it was so not like any sci-fi show I had ever seen before. Then about 2 seasons later I tried to start up again and found they had changed it to be Farscape: The Next Generation. That pissed me off so much I stopped caring about it all together. _________________ "Veni. Vedi. Spooki." - Julius Caesar

Then I guess you wouldn't be interested in Box Set releases, then? _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

Only season 1, maybe two for me. three and four... no thanks. now stargate, that's a sci-fi show that wasn't turned into star trek. though this latest season seems to be the closest it has come yet. _________________ "Veni. Vedi. Spooki." - Julius Caesar

I was gutted when they "killed" Daniel. even though he pops up a few times in the latest season. But I haven't seen that one yet as they don't have Sky Digital at uni. Terrestrial TV is still one season (or possibly two) behind. I think Stargate has a certain amount of dry/sarcastic bordering on silly humour that I find really appealing. And despite the fact that I am a complete and total trekkie (and proud to admit it), it's something Star Trek never really had. _________________ Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons....for you are crunchy and good with ketchup. |

most definitly, star trek always took itself a bit too seriously while not really a bad thing it just lacked that sarcastic edge that stargate has. I also like the fact that stargate is sci-fi without being in the future, they use modern weapons and fully explain the few pieces of alien weaponry they have. I like how most of their successes are a mix of skill with a large chunk of luck, it just makes the show more humanistic. O Niel is funny.
Oh, and I saw the last ep of farscape, it really didn't suprise me very much. what happened at the end wasn't very well timed, shot, or scripted and so when it happened it lost all of its emotional impact-- the only thing that really impressed me was how that guys head opened up. I take that back, I did enjoy Dargo's explanation of what Jon was doing. "It looks like he's angry" _________________ "Veni. Vedi. Spooki." - Julius Caesar
