Post subject: Where's my frickin' avatar?!
|
|
|
|
Okay, I've been trying to do this for the last couple of days and no luck. Whenever I do, it just ends up blank on my screen. What is the problem? |

Well instead of starting a new post I'll ask here, Can anyone see my avatar? A few months ago I attempted to use a new avatar and after that I stopped seeing my avatar... _________________ "I'm just very selective about the reality I choose to accept." - Calvin

I believe the ability to upload an avatar to be stored on this site is still dead.
Anyone who has changed their avatar recently has had to link to an off-site image. _________________ "Robots don't say 'ye'."

What Beefy said. You'll have to link to an offsite avatar. _________________ This space left intentionally blank.

The current link to your pic as of this moment is "http://samuraichamploojin-01.gif/", which seems to have the image filename right, but no website attatched to it. Make sure the website path comes after the "http://" and before the "/samuraichamploojin-01.gif". _________________ "Life's a journey, not a destination..." -Aerosmith ('Amazing')

animeim's not going to let you leech their bandwidth.
One address: www.photobucket.com/
It's free, it's easy. Open an account, upload your Jin avatar to it, and link from there. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

Yea, I flipped through the website (http://www.animeim.com) and it doesn't appear they allow you to directly link to their images. However, you can download it to your computer, then upload it on this site through the 'Profile' option and see if that works...

It won't. That's why I had to switch to photobucket.

As slow as my connection is running, it's a wonder I'm ahead of anybody.
P.S. to silver wolf: Stop double/bump-posting. It's not a life-or-death issue. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis
