I find ever since Cartoon Network started airing on extended basic cable it started to become strange.

Its amazing how half of the new users to these forums post a "Who likes the old toonami vs new toonami" post. I mean it always has the same exact title and nothing in it.

I start this petition, with the classic Toonami of my elementary school days in mind.

So you want Toonami to air shows that appeal to elementary school kids?
We can do that. Cool

you guys don't get the essence of classic toonami. Everytime i watch a classic commercial or something from old toonami it just makes me feel that much better. Reminds me of the days of my youth and how much easier things were than. All i want is for cartoon network, even if its for a week or two, to give me a piece of my youth back. And i just want as many people to help as possible.

Oh yeah. An online petition. Everyone listens to those, especially when it's against their money-making interest.

You sound like you want nostalgia, but you type like you're 13. Use capitols and don't act like "u" is a word and we'd be MUCH nicer to you.

Oh, and don't assert that we don't understand. Fact of that matter is that I have been watching Cartoons with a critical eye, as if it were an ART form, for YEARS. I see things in animation that most can't even notice if they tried.

I've ALSO dedicated al arge portion of thought and time to understanding the basics of marketing, establishing a brand, and demographics. The SHORT version is that Cartoon Network is one of the top 10 networks in the counrty. In fact, I want to say it's either 3rd or 6th . . . either way, they know what they're doing. They really do.

So stop begging for Johnny Quest. Granted, I used to love Thundercats. But that was when I was 5. And Transformers is on DVD, so that's my responsibility to track down.

And the "Don't Cancel Invader Zim" online petition got over 60,000 signitures in a few days. They didn't bring it back. Don't expect to change the world with a few email addresses.

You make a good point. I know that it'll never happen but buying dvds is expensive and downloading pisses me off. But its always nice to dream. So I'm done. Game Over. You convinced me.

P.S. I only typed like that cause its easier and quick. Sorry to piss you off with my convenience.

Capitol letters make one seem mor mature. And one that is more mature garners more respect. More respect means we aren't as snippy.

I don't tolerate 12 year olds with AOL. I just don't.

But I can carry on an actual conversation with an adult.

When it comes to the internet, all we know is what you type. And the way what you're saying is presented matters a lot more than one would expect.

Just to note: You used the wrong spelling of "capital," CP. Capitol refers to government buildings.
