I downloaded the .zip file this time instead of streaming the movie then saving it.
These shorts keep getting better. I can't wait for the next one.
I also saw the promo for "Final Flight of the Osiris" on the Sci-fi channel. *drool* _________________ "Robots don't say 'ye'."

it was pretty good, only problem (and its a problem most animation has when they try it) is that there is way to much difference between the animated cels and the 3d work. It's not unpossible to do, Disney's Deep Canvas is probably the best of making them mesh, but they needed to spend more time in making them work then they obviously did. Now that I'd done complaining (for the most part), the charater designs and style is from the guy who make Ninja Scroll, isn't it? _________________ "Veni. Vedi. Spooki." - Julius Caesar

...and I'm about to scoot away. But just cuz the next ones by the same guy who did cb doesn't mean its something to get that worked up about. not saying it will be bad, or even only ok. but you might want to get that bladder problem checked out. anime shouldn't trigger the urinary tract like that, it's not normal. *scoots away some more* _________________ "Veni. anyone else getting a quicktime error saying that its unable to download the appropriate plug in? i have the latest version of quicktime and already checked for updates.
it only seems to do this on the medium and large bandwidth files. The lowbandwidth file works just fine. |
I know what's wrong; I experienced the same problem. The file you downloaded was a .sit file, correct? I didn't know what file type that was either until I found out it was a compressed file format like .zip or .rar; Just go to download.com and download a decompressing program (only a few MB), I used a program called StuffIt, and decompress the file. That should do the trick BTY; I just joined today; I love this site and this is my first post; yay |

And here I thought "A Detective Story" wouldn't be released until Tuesday.
The English version was good, featuring Carrie-Anne Moss as the voice of Trinity.
The Japanese version had English text on the computer screens. No Japanese text at all. What's up with that? _________________ "Robots don't say 'ye'."

the animatrix really was made for an american audience; the whole idea of the matrix and stuff just happened to be inspired by anime is all. The Animatrix is an homage to that inspiration so it would make sense that the studios would be making it to appeal to the americans who are funding/arranging the whole thing. _________________ "Veni. you would almost think people were complaining about that Anyway; I like how it was done in a very grainy gritty film noireesque style. They pulled it off very well. Certain bits of it though needed a bit more animation added in, in more than one scene it looked like they just animated the mouth over a still image of the characters.... thats a bad thing... thats a hanna barbera/scooby doo like bad thing. There is still a few things that the japanese really REALLY need to learn before they trully hit the american mainstream and really try to dominate. Now if Mr. Cowboy Bebop man would team up with Disneys animators... man the result from that would be a beauty to behold. _________________ "Veni. Vedi. Spooki." - Julius Caesar
