By the way GB, you had no right at all getting pissed off at me for what I said/typed. You gave no impression it was anything more than a generic lame ass "I'm depressed and suicidal just cuz" topic.

Now that I know you gf died, I can possitivly say shit that sucks, but you can't let it keep you down. I'm not sorry it happened I had nothing to d with it, but it still is terrible that it happened.

On another topic, I really find it innapropriate to grieve on an internet messege board. Especially if it just happened. While it was nice of you to eventually get around to (oddly enough by what I said) letting us know what happened we don't know you, especially not personally, we can give you heartfelt generalities but what you need is friends in real life to help deal with it.

I'm most definitly not sorry about what I said, I have no reason to be.

Spook, not to sound like a Jackass, but how the FUCK do you think that I am dealing with this? How should I?!

Come on, tell me. You are the ultra smart moderator, the one who knows how to deal with shit like this.

I have no reason to be sorry. Just like you. Also, I have friends. The only reason I came back was because they were being Jackasses about it.

And another thing, why do you think it's wrong for me to express my anger on the board? Do you not have enough respect for me, as upon other members to complain about my day-to-day life?

Dee, My friends are thousands of miles away from me. I can't. I went to her funeral, and that was the last time I saw them, Except for my bandmates. I had to sing "Blue", "The Scientist", and A song by Rob Dougan, "Furious Angels". They are several of my last friends, that I knew prior to collage. They were several of the People that were with us when we were together.

I'm guessing you're probably going to wear it, GB? Hell just think what she would've wanted. Hard for me to guess as I didn't know her, but I know you would do what she would've wanted you to do.

She said to me,

"When I die, If you're still alive, Keep my memory alive, anyway you can."

Just keeping a promise...

I've had people close to me die before, many more than just one. Yes, it's sad, it can be nearly incapacitatingly sad but you just have to move on. That's not to say you have to forget them but you can't just halt your life. If your friends are being jackasses ask yourself if they really are or if your the one who sees it that way? Being in an emotional state makes you more sensitive vulnerable to just about everything, you are offended much easier, ect, ect. You need to take a few steps back, take a deep breath, and relax. The world didn't end, mighty rivers didn't come to a crashing halt. It just changed. Your world changed, nothing more. It sucks for now, but alot change starts out negative and comes back around eventually to do some good.

Do you really thing she would want you do grieve her death or celebrate her life? Eh? Which sounds more appealling? That's fucking right. Now go throw on your Goofy and Mickey Party Hats and throw a celebration in honor of whatever the shit her name is. After that's done, move on, don't forget it, but keep moving. Do what you have to do to live and enjoy life. Fuck anything else.

As for posting your feelings on messege boards and FDD having done it so much...

What GB brought up in this thread is much MUCH different than anything FDD has. FDD just kinda likes to bitch about lifes little things and vent a little and get some suggestions. GB on the other hand, while nice he felt comfortable enough with us to share it, brought up a topic that obviously so deeply personal that it should best be kept within a circle of people who knows him and whatever her name was. The only reason to bring it up here in the manner he did was to get attention and halfpity. We can't feel for his loss, not like he or anyone who knew her did. We get a faceless visage of him represented by Spike, even if we lost someone as close to us as she was to him all we can do is say "I went through a similar experience, and I too know the kind of pain your feeling". All we can do is say we have felt your pain and/or it sucks to lose someone. We can't give him real comfort like say, his and her family can. Like their real life life long friends can, even if they are 50,000 miles away. A voice is much more soothing than text at the very least.

Lastly, about the ring.

Wear it based soley on this decree. That when you find somebody else, you will remove the ring from your ring finger and either place it on a different finger or put it away forever. I'm not saying to forget abotu her and the ring, but to just pu tit away out of direct sight (ie. a sock drawer sort of place)

So if you want to still think I'm being a jackass when I say "get the fuck over it" go right on ahead. I don't know you I don't really care very much. But at least know what I put behind those words.

...then again, if you're really lucky she'll come back from the grave and haunt your umm... tv or something. Yuo definitly won't forget her then.

You obviously can't understand what I'm saying, you're obsessing over the wrong details. Besides its not my fault you pick shitty ass friends who aren't there to help cheer you up and put a possitive light on a situation. Go fucking drown in alcohol with them better yet perhaps just go drown. At least then your unending pain of her death with be released.

Do you get what I'm saying? Probably not.

Spook, I don't even get what you're saying. You're making next to no sense, and being a total asshole about it. Did you notice that for the most part, he already IS over it, and that other people are bringing it up more than him.
I know that if someone in my life died, I would most likely bring it up here. I consider most of you close friends of mine--we've been together for what two, three years now some of us? If you haven't noticed for the what--year or two you've been here, this isn't a normal message board.
I'd also like to make an argument that a typed word can be equally as comforting as one spoken. Again, we all know eachother, we all know eachothers' "voice" in one way or another. It's just as heartfelt--it's just as real, and a little more perminant at that.

Thanks. Spook, do you want me to go kill myself? BECAUSE I WILL.

It's better living in no world than in a world with you.

I'll shut up for now...

Who am I?
Who are you?
Am I alone?

well, simply put, things are going to suck, and who knows when they'll get better? being at college far from home and friends doesn't. heck when i got dumped by my 1st gf i was really depressed for over 6 months. Understandably GB must move on, but perhaps he wanted to share his feelings like we all do, i know i share my getting engaged with you guys when i couldn't share it with my real friends. Spook you are being a bit insensative, he is allowed to be depressed. I know i would be, and heck i would share Angela's death with all of you as I'm planning on sharing our wedding. It isn't a normal board, its my favorite board and with good reason, people understand, and when they get all mean they at least do it funny.

Thank you so fucking much.

The Scientist. Look at the Meaning of it. It means so much to me now.

Come up to meet you, tell you I'm sorry,
You don't know how lovely you are,
I had to find you, tell you I need ya,
And tell you I set you apart,
Tell me your secrets, and ask me your questions,
Oh lets go back to the start,
Running in circles, coming in tails,
Heads on a science apart,

Nobody said it was easy,
It's such a shame for us to part,
Nobody said it was easy,
No one ever said it would be this hard,
Oh take me back to the start

I was just guessing at numbers and figures,
Pulling the puzzles apart,
Questions of science, science and progress,
Do not speak as loud as my heart,
And tell me you love me, come back and haunt me,
Oh and I rush to the start,
Running in circles, chasing tails,
Coming back as we are

Nobody said it was easy,
Oh it's such a shame for us to part,
Nobody said it was easy,
No one ever said it would be so hard,
I'm going back to the start

Crying or Very sad

Aww, now this thread is making me all warm and fuzzy, what with the 'this board isn't a normal board' talk. Seriously, I have peach fuzz sprouting on my face.

Ok, maybe that's just my under-developed facial hair, but still, I'm deffinitely warm . . . and fuzzy on the INSIDE.
