Aww, now this thread is making me all warm and fuzzy, what with the 'this board isn't a normal board' talk. Seriously, I have peach fuzz sprouting on my face.

Ok, maybe that's just my under-developed facial hair, but still, I'm deffinitely warm . . . and fuzzy on the INSIDE.

Wow--losing a loved one makes you an awesome poet. *Kills roommate*
Nope. Nuthin. Damn.

Actually, it's a Coldplay song, but thanks for the compliments. Also, a new poem. The new meaning of Green Bird, from spike's vision.

Spike guns down a machine gun wielding thug. Ambushed, Spike duels Vicious.
Vicious directs his sword at Spike's heart. Spike points his gun at
Vicious' heart.

VICIOUS: Spike. Do you know what your face looks like right now?

SPIKE: What?

VICIOUS: The same blood runs in you and me. The blood of a beast who
wanders, desiring the blood of others.

SPIKE: I've bled all of that blood away.

VICIOUS: Then why are you still alive?!

Vicious stabs Spike in the shoulder while Spike shoots Vicious in the
shoulder. Vicious throws Spike out a stained glass window. Spike drops a
grenade.

Memories of a blonde woman, a rainy street, gunfire, roses, a time of
friendship, a bar scene, a gun pointed at the woman's head, Vicious in bed
with the woman, a bloody smile, a red rose in a puddle.

An explosion from the stained glass window.

Wandering down a street, a bloody Spike falls in front of the blonde woman.

The blonde woman hums. Spike regains consciousness. The woman stops
humming. Spike is bandaged all over on her bed in her apartment.

SPIKE: Just like that... sing for me.

The woman smiles.

Guns blazing

Remembering times of a lost love

Everything falling

Everything falling

Never forgotten

Broken hearts

In a dream…

Rose in a puddle

Dreaming of a love that should have happened

Sad. It reminds me alot of a rush of blood to the head.

(Anime) Aa! Megami-sama: Coro di dea - Megami-tachi no Utagoe (Coro di dea - Voices of Goddesses)

From the Movie

Felicitas cum amicis communicata est
Tristitia est communis dolor cum omnibus amicis
Per aspera vita beata est
Causa vivendi omnibus
Invenire credere magni momenti
Fores aperiendi
Fores aperiendi
tempus est
certe

[translation]
Your joy is the proof you've shared happiness with someone
Your sorrow is the proof you've shared pain with someone
The road may be steep, but it's far better than an uneventful life
Everyone has proof of life
What's important is to find it and believe it
Love, bravery, and hope, they all exist in everyones heart
Everyone is waiting for the door to open
And when you achieve it
The word (someone) will smile for you
[/translation]

Such an awesome movie . . . *sigh*

There's actually a really good issue in the Manga that I believe inspired that song. It has to do with Keichi not wanting to take in a stray puppy because he's afraid of losing something he loves. Belldandy says something to the effect of 'you can't fear sorrow, or else you cant feel love.' Quite touching. All of you read the AMG Manga! Now!

Damn I wish I knew what you Las Vegasians were talking about sometimes . . . actually, that would just complicate my life more. Which is entirely what I don't need for the next few weeks . . .

I think I've found the key to happiness, something that can cure even the worst depression/saddness/boredom ever, more so then any anime or Half-Life mod:

http://www.thinkgeek.com/cubegoodies/toys/6279/

And we have Japan to thank for it. ^_^

EDIT: And I thought phasing is considered by WTC one of the worst mistakes they ever made...

J-P: This actually started out as a thread for me to express my anger sorrow and grief. It wasn't really a poetry thing. I feel sorry for your dad...

Guess what? It turned out to be a poetry thread anyway, didn't it? So I guess I win this round... *in his best Sean Connery voice* The day is mine! I'm the cock of the walk!

on a more serious note, don't ever feel sorry for my dad or anyone who went through what he had to growing up... I certainly don't. The point of the poem was not to feel sorry for anyone, but to point out the struggle to survive and the courage it took to look opposition in the eye. It also points out how a person who struggles through their life can sometimes feel tired and bewildered by the process. My dad's an amazing person, but he's still a person. The emotional scars run deep in the generations of my parents and my grandparents, but we keep looking forward to a future where we can heal such scars. The poem gives you a taste of the pain and pride modern Native Americans live with everyday.

There's nothing to feel sorry for.

Don't let FAK know...
And what was wrong with phasing? Phasing was awesome.

I'm just surprised that Your Minion knows about Teferi's Curse. And actually, he's using it a little wrong. It's not a creature enchantment, it's just an enchantment.

"Whenever a creature you control attacks, it phases out at end of combat."

Perfect when I make my Wormfang Manta unblockable. Hell, even if I Gaseous Form it, I still get my infinite turns!

. . . .

I love phasing.

[edit]
Looking at that picture, I am reminded of a summer camp I went to. One group made a formerly-remote-controlled tank that ran around in a square denoted by electrical tape and shot anything that came close.

Aaa, the memories.[/edit]

*Gasp*
Force was wrong on the curse

Enchant Permanent 1U
Teferi's Curse can enchant only an artifact or a creature.
Enchanted permanent has phasing.

*Attacks Bono for 1*

Hah, Your at 8 Life now!
