Post subject: WHY IS THIS PLACE SO DEAD

is it just me or is this place DEAD... im the only one whos posted a new topi in like a MONTH!!! AND I HAVENT EVEN BEEN HERE A MONTH...
... what gives??? |

We don't have a large enough influx of new members. Things are kinda stagnant right now. Hopefully when PDFRadio comes online that'll change.

The general age of the population here has increased in recent years, and I probably speak for others besides myself when I say that time constraints are much more prevalent now than in years past, therefore longer periods of silence occur...
Another reason, which is just an assumption on my part, is that years ago, just about everyone was watching whatever premiered on Toonami for the first time. This sort of thing brought about a lot of discussion, as everyone was basically at the same point in a given series, and so the community would speculate on present and future events and then watch it unfold together. Nowadays, people have seen entire series before they air on television, and this knowledge of plot development beforehand obviously stifles conversation besides "What did you think about the ending?", and as such, things are quieter...
That said, I think it's more of the former, personally. Especially since I had more to say, but am running late to work... =)

Yeah, but that was going to be some money-costing fiasco. All we're doing at first is hosting a podcast, and if it's popular, we'll see about broadcasting live.

| You'd think it would be more lively around here, what with IGPX, new Ghost in the Shell, and other goodies on the horizon. I'm not complaining, though. It's nice to be able to enjoy a forum free of annoying posts, if only for a little while. |
