Post subject: Attack of the ASC Clones!

Being bored out of my mind with the Groovenians last night, I started to surf around, landing on one of my favorites: Comedy Central. They now have their own animated comedy block going from midnight to 3:
12:00 - Gary & Mike
12:30 - Undergrads
1:00 - The Critic
1:30 - The Critic
2:00 - Duckman
2:30 - Duckman
Even for a claymation show, Gary & Mike isn't all that good, but it has its moments. I liked Undergrads when MTV first aired it, but they cut its run too short. What can you possibly say about The Critic? Duckman is pretty old by TV standards, but still funny. I'm hoping that one day they'll replace either Gary & Mike or the 2am Duckman for The Tick, but I don't know if they have the rights to that show anymore. Oh well, a boy has the right to dream. _________________ Rycel's Death Count on this board: 7

See my topic about the Groovenians. I wish profuse swearing was allowed on MBs. That show deserves it.
And thanks for telling about the CC animation block. Wouldn't have known about it otherwise. _________________ anime is teh s uck

Oh yeah, Duckman is a great show, if it wasn't copy written it would look great in the ASC line up, at least i think so anyway. _________________ Those that lack leadership ability should leave the room and make way for those that have.

it being copywritten isn't whats keeping it away from ASC. It being licsensed to CC is though. Duckman would fit in rather nicely though. _________________ "Veni. Vedi. Spooki." - Julius Caesar

Wot? The Critic and Duckman are still on the air? SWEET!! I love those, and thought they were gone months ago. From what (very little) I've seen of ASC, I think that CC's Sunday block blows it out of the water.
Unfortunately, this means that I'll use half my tape each week. I wish I wasn't so lazy . . |
