Post subject: 2 minutes into the show and I already hate it

Wulin Warriors sucks bad. The intro, the 'animation', and the writing are all bad. I mean, this show would make a Karate Fighter show with just the toys look awesome. I mean, these are not even the good looking puppets. No movement on their face other than the eyes. In other words, when they talk (which you will hope they don't), it doesn't even do any jaw movement. Team America had great-looking puppets. Hell, Thunderbirds could beat these puppets.
Writing is ugh. These are supposed to be warriors that are supposedly funny? Other than bad comedy, the plot is cookie cutter. The cookie being made? Chocolate Crap.

Even though I havn't seen it, I believe this was an experiment on CN's behalf. They are attempting to grab the audience that enjoyed both Thunderbirds and Team America with this show, but my guess is that they will scrap it after its first season. The only reason Thunderbirds was enjoyable was because it was revolutionary and had a good animation team, and Team America used puppets for comedic effect. This fails at both points, and thus, I predict, will fail in the ratings. _________________ *Floats by on a cloud* |

Just what we need, a bunch of people saying it sucks, and giving no explanation to their reasoning....I admit it's not exactly what I was looking for in a show, I will give them respect for attempting something this radical.
Pros:
- Cheese factor
- Change of pace
- Decent action with plenty of fights
Neutral:
- Writing isn't great, but shouldn't be taken seriously. It would be like taking the script to Big Trouble in Little China seriously.
Cons:
- Overuse of rap-style music, but Samurai Champloo showed it's possible on a similar premise so i'll give it a shot.
....See? If you're going to bash a show, at least list some reasons why you hate it.... _________________ There is limited intelligence in the galaxy, but the stupidity of the universe is infinite. |

I thought it was pretty good I was interested in the idea of puppets and their mouths not moving really does not bother me. My only problem so far is that I have a real hard time following the fight scenes but they might be easier to follow in future episodes. I liked the story and the characters but the jokes really did not make me laugh. I will stick with the series just because its something different. _________________ From The Great one himself:

They should've hired Joel Hodgson and Mike Nelson on the writing staff. _________________ Toonami visual schedule - UPDATED AUGUST 2, 2015 |

First Joel wouldn't have fit into it since its an overseas thing. But I know where your going.
But to remember what happens when Joel Hodgson gets his own show. Just thinking back to "The TV Wheel" which was on Comedy Central for maybe two episodes during his MST3k run |
