Post subject: Toei Animation Valt eclipses Silver Tokyo

It seems that Sailor Moon and the other Senshi have found an enemy that not even the Silver Crystal and sappy songs can overcome. Read the Save our Sheshi report about why the Animated Sailor Moon has suffered a Total Eclipse!

So let me get this straight: Toei is letting all licenses of the Sailor Moon anime expire to 1) pimp their live-action Sailor Moon series 2) be able distribute the rights to the anime however they want.
It's a shame that their live-action Sailor Moon series won't ever get an official US release (because it's cheap and there wouldn't be enough of a market for it.)
I guess all we can do now is wait.

Yea, I don't understand what's going on. I'd say your right about the live action not making it over here.

I'm thinking if Tokyo Mew Mew and Winx Club do well then 4kids might try to get the live-action Sailor Moon on the Fox Box. They did Ultraman before (which was a horrible failure I might add) but SM has the stuff to not be booted off like Tiga did.

If they hadn't tried to turn Ultraman Tiga into a new version of What's Up, Tiger Lily?, it might have had better success...

I'm not going to disagree, there is a lot of opinnion in the article but it does have a good overview of what's going on.
