Incredible. Greg Weisman (Creator of Gargoyles!) is a genius. Gwen's been great, Harry's sudden transformation into stud was actually explained, and KONG!
By the middle of episode 11 or so I was totally rooting for Venom to kick Spidey's ass.
Not to mention Doc Ock's prodigious vocabulary, the most sympathetic Vulture portrayal in recent memory, J. Jonah just as funny as he was in the movies, and bit parts from Ned Leeds, Mysterio, Jean De Wolfe, pretty much everyone but Phil Urich.
I also really enjoyed the half-Spidey/half-Pete face popping up nearly every episode at random, just like they did in Stan and Steve's comics. Ditko even got co-creator credit in the opening... which has a sinfully catchy theme song.
A pitch perfect combination of 616, Ultimate, and aiming for a young audience.
