This board does have a history of stringing up n00bs, in particular you could point to the Naruto thread for an example of the "vets" driving off new folk but a lot of the time (at least by the time I somehow was considered "ONEOFUS!") these guys
A) would step in and pick a fight with the nastiest poster possible (tie between me/CP/Slim) and then piss someone else off
B) would post something like "this is just my opinion teehee but anyone who liked this is stupid, you stupid stupids, and then one of the aforementioned three would scalp them in short order.

I would like to see new blood here, and I promise I'd behave myself, or work harder to.

Unless they Hamtaro bash. Then I'll hammer their SOUL.

Aye aye. Full speed ahead! Or maybe just a quarter. Anyway, good to know you guys are gonna hand around.

Oh, and no one likes a douche, Kyle, but it's good to know you're trying. And I never picked a fight. I just asked a question. I'll admit, I was somewhat narrow-minded when that debacle began, but I've grown up since then, and I've learned alot more about online forums. In case none of you picked up on this, the Infolink was the first online forum site I ever joined, so yes, I made mistakes, but I hope that I've learned from those mistakes and it shows in my posts, and not just here. I don't know, you guys tell me. You're the ones that have been reading them.

And I'm still here, so I guess that I'm the exception to your theory there, Kyle.

Are you the guy we mercilessly picked on regarding punctuation and capitalization? I don't even remember beefing with you. Good job growing up! And paragraphs! How I relish posters who utilize paragraphs.

FYI:
I'm not even the meanest guy here
I'm more of a jackass than a douche, d-bag's get chicks
The guy I was thinking of was Jack Frost.

And did you change you username? I don't know what happened to the guy I predicted would never touch a woman. Started with a "G"?

He didn't last long... just a drive-by poster.

Actually, you as well as others commended me for it, but my bickering brought me down. You got mad at me when I told you to, uh, well, let's just say "take a hike" for butting in to the argument. . It's all on pages 17 and 18 of the Nartuto talkback. That's how we hit it off. Great start right?

No, but Nobu already mentioned that.

So what do you think Kyle? Am I still the "complete and utter fucktard" I was when you met me, or are we cool now?

I'm going to assume you said something that struck a nerve OR just kept posting again and again and I snapped. I'm also going to assume I didn't need to jump in, but hey I was an angry guy. Poor Jack Frost.

I don't use sarcasm on the internet anymore because it's hard for anyone to read. Unless it's a short, short remark that sounds like a comment from a child's progress report such as "Nice comment. Very helpful."

I'm cool with everybody here, whether they begrudge me or not, which I really can't blame them.

I do believe we need to rebrand this place Animeinfolink, peel ourselves away from our torrents to actually discuss shit other than what we bought, and yes, even handle the new guys with kid gloves because no one's going to stick around long enough to grow up f we treat them like we have before.

For instance it can't be much harder to say "Look we said in the beginning of the thread that not all dubs are evil" instead of "WTF are you too intellectually stunted to remember the first page moron?" or "Shut the fuck up".

Roasting newbies is one of the reasons I despise boards but this particular board, though it does need to be nicer for lack of a better word, never did that (for too long) to people who weren't looking for a fight, and that's why I'm stil here.

A whipping newb? Someone into S&M then? Maybe Nobu can find someone.

As for the board, we are a little xenophobic..... for better or for worse. A rebranding couldn't hurt, considering Toonami isn't what it once was.

It does also help to understand the demographic that would join "ToonamiInfolink"

Toonami was what brought me here, but then I grew up, Toonami changed, Adult Swim was more interesting, and then Toonami got younger. And then I stopped watching anime at all. Hence me never posting here anymore.
