I agree that toonami had got increasingly worse as time has passed. First they took off Kenshin and moved that to Saturdays, then they took off Yuyu and that's just gone, and replace them with SD Gundam? SD Gundam is possibly the stupidest show I've ever seen. It's overall retardedness is only exceeded by its unbelievably blah graphics. It's like the Gamecube meets TV. Then they have Transformers Armada, that show should've died after the first season came out on Fox when I was like 10, when they were actually animal robots(guess they figured cars that race would be a little bit less violent lol). Then new episodes of Dragon Ball, how long is it gonna be before the DBZ team calls it quits. I hate to be a basher but what have us faithfull toonami watchers done to diserve this. When my little 8yr old sister started watching it intently I knew toonami had gone down the "dark path". Put some good shows back on there please. Adult Swim is all I have left.

*sigh*

Any thread that uses the word "blah" so often deserves to be locked... I agree with some of the sentiments, but it's not necessary using the word "blah" so much. It makes you sound like you're 12...

Lock this thread, please...

the "blah" references have been changed to "blah". lets try not to use "blah" as an insult, okay folks? People have the right to be "blah", its not a choice, so calling things "blah" just because you don't like them just is not cool. Especially since being "blah" isn't the horrific atrocity being "blah" once was. Try coming up with more original adjectives instead of just resorting to "blah".

I'll read what they actually wrote later.

I'm with Green Bird, just forget Toonami, watch Adult Swim, and laugh at Family Guy.

SD Gundam the stupidest? Were you around when they showed Ronin Warriors? Or Hamtaro?
Don't be so ignorant about Transformers. The first series of Transformers had them transforming into cars. Beast Wars and Beast Machines were the exception.
The whole lack of any knowledge whatsoever on the series' Dragonball makes you look like an ass all by itself.
Are you sure your 8 year old sister is your little sister?

I think the only thing that might help Toonami would be InuYasha(with some editing of course)

SD Gundam is an enjoyable show, It might be for the younger set. Plus Has there been a BAD Gundam show?

I believe I can safely say "yes" but then again I have never been a fan of the Gundam series. The only one I liked was like the shortest one in exsistance, 8th ms team.

SD Gundam definitly has some problems you must get over or around before you can begin to like the show. The first part of the first episode I saw was the kid and "captain" lieing in a grass field cloud watching. It was incredibly sappy, especially for a scene with kid and a robot, I changed the channel out of the shear stupidity of that one scene alone. I slowly gave it more time and more chances and now I see the show as stupid, but watchable.

Toonami definitly needs new blood. Real blood. Not It's new to you as long as you don't watch SVES. SD Gundam fits in fine there, as does He-Man. Either they should make Samurai Jack and Justice League Toonami exclusives w/ new episodes or leave them off the block. Dragonball GT is fine for the block, dragonball, thoguh I believe should be moved to SVES for a permenant run-- if only to make room for something new.

Something like a new Thundercats series and a good Transformers series would work wonders for the block. Especially if that Transformers series was from Mainframe. Though we all know that will never happen.

IGPX sucked. Maybe not qualitywise but it sucked none the less. It wasn't the draw (I believe) that even TIH was. IT wasn't novel, it wasn't new (I mean ideawise), it wasn't innovative. TIH at least was "flashy".

Dragonball fits perfectly on Toonami, Spook. It really, really does. It is new blood. It has a very different feel than DBZ. Also, Mainframe has gone to crap. The new Spiderman series they did was horrible. Reboot and Beast Wars are two of my favorite shows of all time, yet nothing good has come from Mainframe since then.

And while IGPX was not innovative or original, it was crisp and DID have a real Toonami feel to it. It's exactly like Zoids: Zero, which really was perfect for Toonami.

However, I would LOVE a new, GOOD Transformer series. I just don't know that it will ever happen.
