You had your hurricane a few years ago. Or at least what was left of it (which was a lot).
I know because I rode through it. T'was kinda' fun. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

95?! You pansy, unless it was 70+% humidity you don't know what hot is. |
Sounds like Rolla .
All up until this week, the summer's been really cool here in Vegas. The highest it'd ever gotten up to was around 107 (at the airport, so about 110-112 for the rest of town). This week, however, it got over 110 at the airport. It was standard summer murder--just a little late. _________________ This space left intentionally blank.

also remember I'm nearish the ocean so we get the humidity that goes with it. 95 degrees with 90% humidity isn't uncommon. I'd rather have 115 with damn near 0 humidity. |

Thanks to the hurricane I'm writing this from an internet kiosk in the lobby of a hotel...what kind of a name for a storm is Frances!? I refuse to die by the hands of a storm named Fran. _________________ I am Jack's Fight Club reference. |

Frank is short for Frances, not Fran, Fran is short for Franchesca. |

Frank is short for Francis, not Frances, unless you call a girl Frank, which has been know to happen. _________________ The problem with America is stupidity. FDD, it's worse where I'm from. We'll have a 90 degree day followed by a 30 degree day, and vice versa, on some occasions. I'd rather have nice, gradual changes year round. Instead, we randomly get a week of summer in winter, and a week of winter in summer. _________________ anime is teh s uck

So that we all know where the names stand:
(from some place on the internet)
FRANCES: Feminine form of Francis, "from France." Variants include Fanny, Francoise, Francesca, and Francisca. Diminutives are Francine, Frannie, Franny, Frankie, and Fran.
FRANCIS: Frenchman. Diminutives, Frank and Frankie, exist.
FRANK: German name meaning "free." Also diminutive of Francis, "Frenchman," and Franklin, "free." Variant, Frankie, exists. _________________ Able and Baker is nice. |

Same here. It's nice to be able to sweat.

I don't want to go back to Franchesca! Franchesca's a horrible place! (I'd fish out the DVDs and quote directly, but I'm too lazy. _________________ This space left intentionally blank.

This hurrican has decided to take it's sweet time. It's just sitting its lazy ass on top of my house. The experts say they've never seen a hurricane this slow that stayed alive as long as Franny has. _________________ Bang. |
