So; what websites that you frequented decided to play jokes on you? Several of mine did; now I'm just curious what you saw?

First off; Gameforms "changed" its name to RPGameforms Intelligence Headquarters NetworkSpot

Then I headed on over to Blizzard and saw that they decided to change teh WCIII icons to that of lost vikings.
http://www.blizzard.com/blizzclassic/aprilfools.shtml

Animation Magizine ran a spot on a Itchy and Scratchy spin-off movie.

So what did you see?

Obviously those adorable pranksters that we have as reporters decided to get into the act; some doing a bit better than others.... *coughdaikunssuckedcough* Razz But anywho; what did you see? Link to it if you want/can.

update: you have to check out http://workingdesigns.com/ if its to late by the time you read this I'm really sorry.

ThinkGeek had a one-day sale. That "Executive Atom Collection" looked pretty sw33t. Very Happy
And of course, SGD Gold!
Powerbook Zone had breaking news on the new Apple 19" laptop.

In the screensavers newsletter from techtv, in the subject line they said something like: "The Screen Savers going off the air until further notice." Then in the body they had a letter from their producer saying it was because of the content on March 31st's episode and it would most likely be resumed in 3 weeks. PS: April Fools

They had me for a while.

He had me going for about 30 seconds. Damn that Greg Werner . . .

www.ultimatedbzinfo.com

At one time, it was my favorite site. The only problem I had with it was that it was rarely updated. He ALWAYS does something on April fools day. Even talks about his greatest April Fools triumph in his perconal info. (Used fake blood to stage an injury. Perfectly executed.) And everytime he puts an April Fools on his site (and he does every year. And it's ALWAYS perfectly executed), he usually doesn't even follow it up with a 'HAHA! Gotcha!' post. He just leaves it for us to discover we're fools. Man, he had me going like whoa . . .

-Anime News Network made more hilarious stories, like they did last year.

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/feature.php?id=132

-Nuklear Power (home of 8-Bit Theater) did a Brian Theater comic.

-Spirit Detective said they had every episode, movie, and soundtrack (in MP3 form) of Yu Yu Hakusho ready for download.

-Home Star Runner centered around the King of Town.

http://www.homestarrunner.com/mainking.html

-The webmaster of Video Game Director's Cuts said he was calling it quits (the worst and most overused April Fools website gig ever).

-A 12-year-old illiterate punk hacked into Mobius Factor and the webmaster, Dom Price, vowed revenge.

By the way, besides just the 3 prank stories our site had on the main page, did anyone notice the fake Toonami/Adult Swim schedules I posted up in this thread?
