Post subject: 09/08/05 - Where am I?

Why hasn't TDA been updated in almost two months?
1: I've been working my ass off getting a school of 2,500 users and 400 computers working. I've been mostly successful...but there are so many of them and I have no assistance. The teachers think I'm awesome and they're very happy things have been working smoothly.
Yay gogo Macs.
2: I've been working my ass off getting another school of 2,600 users and 500 computers from crushing itself from under its own weight.
They got a new tech person (Julie)...but hired her like, two weeks before school started. She didn't have enough time to redo anything, so had to live with the system as is.
...it all fell apart when school started.
15 minute login times, kids can't save, printing's a futile effort, and the staff server crashed a week into school with no backup since May. Everybody's pissed, complaining all the way to the superintendent. It's bad. Not her fault, though. The administration doesn't blame her, but the teachers sure do.
I've been spending about 20 hours a week over there salvaging what I can, rebuilding the servers when/where I have the luxury to do so.
Julie got a raw deal with her shitty school and I feel terrible for her, so I'm helping her our whenever I can, to the point that I'm neglecting my own school. I'm getting sick of it, and so are my bosses.
I like Julie, but I hate her school.
3: I got addicted to GTA3 like, 3 years after it came out. All this talk about how it kills the kids that are forced to play it...has really made me want to play it again. I beat it last week and I'm gonna pick up Vice City soon.
4: Standard Amanda stuff. I gotta spend my time with the missus too.

If you're looking for help keeping TDA/ASF updated, then I would like to volunteer.
Because three people neglecting the site are better than two.

Although, all I'd contribute EVER is a comment now and then, and MAYBE stuff for the features section.

Even though Code Lyoko is on Toonami UK....but they don't really count now do they.....
