The old board looked like an XBox. I don't see how that's any better. I guess we were just used to it.

I think we associated the colors and design of it all with all of the memorable conversations that we had on the old board.

Scrolling to the right on every page doesn't help either, but I'm not rich enough to afford a 19"-21" monitor.

you could have a 21" monitor and still have to scroll over, you just need a monitor that can do 1024x768.

There needs to be a return of some of the more...uh, odd threads. Unfortunately I think it would be a little odd if I started a "Who Thinks Dillpops Is Cute?" thread. Anyone else got any ideas for random threads?

Sure, I can do 1024x768, but I would go blind after the summer.

How's Maya comming along for you? Is it extremely hard to learn? I saw them use it on The Screen Savers, but that guy was a pro and made it look easy.

it sure as hell aint easy. I wish we were doing more organic modeling though, that's where I'm weak. I can do objects and building no problem. I got a feeling I'm on my own for that. I'll put some renders online if I can find some (I think the only copies may have been deleted off the schools computers... but I hope not)

Texturing is a bitch. Lighting is fun and a snap to do. We haven't really covered animating yet. I hope we cover it soon, I only have 4 total 3d classes left.
