So: New Toonami! First things first. For now, that IS the schedule. I know I said we wouldn’t tell you, but the higher ups changed that.
~(The lineup: New Bleach at midnight, new series Deadman Wonderland at 12:30, and another new series Casshern Sins at 1, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood at 1:30, FLCL at 2, and Cowboy Bebop at 2:30. 3 AM, the party starts all over again)
~We will not be showing Naruto, DBZ, etc for now. The rights to those shows are owned by our competition or are out of our price range.
~SPEAKING OF WHICH: Something you should know about THIS Toonami: We have very, very little $$. This experiment will need ratings success to receive more funding for new shows, more Tom animation, etc. I’m thankful for the $$ we’ve gotten, but it isn’t a lot.
~Toonami will have to prove itself to get more resources, just like it had to do when we first launched.
~TOM: Will be voiced as always by Steve Blum. Who is doing it for love. Just like we are. Tom will be an updated hi-res version of Tom 3.0. The Absolution will be a slightly different but almost identical version of the one from the Tom 3.0 era as well.
~There will be no SARA for now. She costs too much to make. But if we can bring her back, we sure will.
~We will try to have some new content each week- game reviews, music videos, content pieces etc. As much as we can afford and make.
~Music: Music will come from a number of places: Ghostly, Warp Records, Victory Records, Now Again records, as well as friends of ours like @therealelp, @flyinglotus, Chris Devoe, Ben Burton, and many others. No, we won’t be using JBV (Joe Boyd Vigil, one of the original architects of the Toonami soundtracks).
~Peter Cullen will NOT be the voice of the promos. He’s busy with Transformers and Eeyore and doesn’t do many promos. Love you Peter!
~Schedule again: you are all entitled to your opinions, but we feel good about it. And yes, Kim Manning is programming it. Love you Kim!
~Lastly, just want to say thank you to all who have supported and brought it back. If you can KEEP supporting us, we will have more $$, which means more shows, more Tom footage, Sara, etc. SO THANK YOU. And keep it up!
Hes also answering allot of questions on his twitter so keep an eye out on that for more info:

It bugs me that they've gotten so many complaints about the schedule when many of these people are just asking for DBZ. The great thing about Toonami is that it always exposed us to new types of shows. I, for one, plan to give these new series a try and will wait for at least 10 eps before I pass any judgement.
I was sad to hear that Peter Cullen isn't doing the promos for now. He, like Steve Blum, just really gave the block a bad ass feel. Hell, it was so bad ass that Bandai made the Gundam Wing promo its official dvd promo. Think I'm going to go watch that again. _________________ I'm getting too old for this. :SNAP: OH GOD, MY HIP!

I personally find that hilarious. The show needs a rest. It aired way too much during Toonami's heyday, and even after Toonami ended, it continued to air nonstop when Kai came around. On TWO networks, no less. And let's not forget the video game version, which has the exact same storyline and is remade over and over.
Haven't they had enough of this ONE GODDAMN SHOW already?
Show me the original Dragonball. Hell, I'll even take GT, much as I dislike it. Just enough with Z. _________________ Toonami visual schedule - UPDATED AUGUST 2, 2015

i've seen so many people on other forums complain about this schedule. what they need to understand is that they barely have any money for this, and that the fans need to support and watch these shows for toonami to grow. if not, then it's gonna die all over again. _________________

Kai counts as its own thing when compared to Z. what allot of people are demanding are just the original dubs. I would mind seeing the Buu saga again since Kai never covered it.
GT is owned by Nicktoons now, no way were ever getting that back, Not that we want it though.

Yep. No filler. BIG DIFFERENCE.
Oh, wait. No, it's not.
Just marathon Z and skip the filler episodes. It's the same show. _________________ Toonami visual schedule - UPDATED AUGUST 2, 2015

If I remember correctly, wasn't it supposed to be less filler, wide screen, and occasionally redrawn segments? Not that it really makes a difference. _________________ I'm getting too old for this. :SNAP: OH GOD, MY HIP!

No filler whatsoever, episodes meshed together to match manga plot flow, supported widescreen, Redubbing and partical new voice cast, new music (now removed), new and redrawn segments, and ends at Cell Games instead of Buu.
Its not like they took the old dub and just cut it apart, it does count as its own series. Its Z still yes, but its a better Z then whatever we got before. Shame it got cut soo short, thats why I would like Toonami to at least air Buu saga again.

I was staying at my friends house over the weekend and he reminded me right before I passed out. SO HAPPY! I love that they brought back the BEST tom. Too bad SARA is too expensive to animate. _________________ Bang.

Bump. So has anyone checked Jason's twitter feed recently for any hints on what the ratings are this week?
