I'm currently at war with this e-posse some other forum and wanted to know your guys' opinions on it. I think they suck personally. That's most of it. But what do you think? |

Our somethingawful friends who handled the "P-P-Powerbook" story were a form of e-posse...
Nothing on Wiki, but basically it boils down to bands of internet users sharing information to either prevent or avenge some form of "injustice":

Unless I'm misinterpreting the use of the word "posse". _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

But what could we ban together to do? Perhaps find and kill the person that came up with RadsQ01 or whatever that particularly piece of adware is called. _________________ This space left intentionally blank.

A well equiped and well fiananced "e-posse" could take down such online groups as the CAA, Stormfront, AFA, and others.
But since none are that powerful, most e-posses satisfy themselves with e-harassing idiots who join their message boards. _________________ Ice cream has this erotic sense to it- kinda like the one choclate and strawberries have.

Civil aviation authority maybe?
and the american family association?
all noble targets, but still... _________________ The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself? |

I think SomethingAwful has taken care of that CAA for us already. _________________ This space left intentionally blank.

Even as the devout Christian I am, that website was just plain hilarious...the review of Ninja Scroll made it sound like Snuff (for the love of God, don't Google that...), and I was more than a bit unsettled by the idea of referring to the presence of a Shinto shrine in a rape scene as possibly offensive to Christians... _________________ I am Jack's Fight Club reference. |
