I am trying to find Peroxwhygen (Per oxygen), Jeff Hardy's Band. The closest thing I got was from another member's band, Burnside 6. Detail?
Plus, Poodle Hat.

Heh, I feel bad now. Because I did buy Poodle Hat and it was great. Not his best, but there were quite a few hits there and alot of laugh out loud lines. "A Complicated Song" is my favorite.
And by some miracle of god while searching his sight I find out he's going to be in orlando at the House of Blues the same weekend I'm beeing dragged to disney. Tickets are cheap and it's on the park property so all is good.
Poodle Hat Tour w00t!

I really like the single "Seven Nation Army". I wasn't a White Stripes fan until the Reading Festival last summer, but they really are awesome live. If you get the chance to go see them do, even if you aren't a massive fan. They're playing Reading again this summer, and I can't wait.
Of course, I am very over excited about seeing Metallica at Reading, and just want to get all excited for just a second about the fact that St Anger is being released tomorrow, June 5th! WooHoo!
On a different note, my friends and I are going to see Ozzy Osbourne in London on September 5th. _________________ Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons....for you are crunchy and good with ketchup.

Okay, I went with some friends at 9am to go and buy St. Anger this morning. I'm listening to it right now. The dude in the shop said we were actually quite lucky as they only had a couple of hundred in stock due to the early release, and most of those were pre-ordered. Tonight is the university union's rock night, so my mate is taking his CD and plans to present it to the DJ as a request. I think they are going to say that it's my birthday, which is the reason they use every week.
Anyway, I'm gonna wait until a few more of you have the album before posting my thoughts. _________________ Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons....for you are crunchy and good with ketchup.

It doesn't usually, but I think it's because they ask for the most random songs, or songs that the new DJ doesn't like. The old guy used to play everything we asked for, but this one doesn't. Still, it might work this week because of the choice of CD. We shall see. _________________ Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons....for you are crunchy and good with ketchup.

tonight at 8:00pm my local radio station is airing the entirty of St. Anger uncut and uninterupted.
Comments on what I've heard so far? The two songs while good, are VERY different than anything they have put out previously and require some time to get used to. They have an immensly metallic/tinny sound to themselves now and it's just a little weird sounding. _________________ "Veni. Vedi. Spooki." - Julius Caesar

Heh heh heh...lol I might go to their Orlando show...I only say might because I have, y'know, parents (I hate being 13) and they might not let me go.

Actually Spook? My first thought on the album was "Too much snare drum". But I'm used to it and second and third time round (hey, it beat revision), St. Anger is growing on me. I do miss the guitar solos though. _________________ Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons....for you are crunchy and good with ketchup.

that's my thought too. It took me a while to realize what sounded weird to me and once I realized it was that he had the snare turned off that I started enjoying it all as a whole.
when heard seperate (ala the radio) if just doesnt seem right, but after listening to the album the songs flow nicely and sound appropriate when together. _________________ "Veni. Vedi. Spooki." - Julius Caesar
