TV pixels aren't square like computer pixels.
they're tallish recatanguar.

yes, yes I know. All my post was really about though was the file sizes that would result from uncompressed.
Forgot one more thing about uncompressed video, becuase of how big it is you need a lightning fast computer to watch it without massive ammounts of dropped frames.

| So, do T.V.'s play uncompressed video (like cable, sattelite, etc.)? And if it does, then does that mean that it is a lightning fast computer? |

HD speed is the deciding factor in most cases.
Most regular drives can't read/write at the required 30MB/sec.
I, however, have a 1TB RAID to work on
