The problem is that we don't fix the injustices we force on these countries. We treat them like shit and then expect them to do whatever we want htem to.
That's what we did right after WWII. But anyway, people need to stop saying we've beaten the British so hard. We Barely one the revolution, and we were actually losing the war of 1812 when it ended (except for tha battle of New Orleans, but that was after a treaty was declared)--we really won at the negotiations table, where all of Britian's good negotiators were at the table with France at the time--ours weren't.
And finally, pay attention to the reporter accounts from Iraq. People run up to them while the Iraqi follower people are distracted and beg for US intervention. there are reasons there are mistrails. unanimous votes aren't easy to come by, sometimes impossible, especially when it involves the -fate- of the country.
