I'm so confused. I haven't been watching toonami for a while and just watched super saturdays today and saw this new strange thing called .hack//sign. I wanna know how long it's been playing and if they give it during weekdays also. The ep that I watched today was called "Role Play" how much have i missed, cause i was confused as hell.
I know he's in this net video game that he can't "logout" of. and he transports himself allround place and crap. That's all I've gathered.

I'm glad I saw this now, because I was just about to create another thread for .hack//sign
So far, I've seen the first four episodes, and it is TOTALLY AWESOME!! It is a realistic anime based around the RPG/nerd phenomenon. It has references to many oldschool games, and does a very good job of portraying Everquest to the Nth degree.
The soundtrack is very cool, and can anyone tell me who does the background music that sounds so Enigma-esque?
Finally, I think that someone needs to make Nobuyuki a new avatar. Is not Bear a very Nobu-like oji-san? _________________ Krogoth uses Berserk.

You missed nothing. That's the first episode, and Toonami just started airing it today (February 1).
They MIGHT bring it to weekdays, but there's no sign yet of it happening on the radar.
And I'm surprised at the rest of you who responded to this thread. It's been announced a month ahead of time (on Toon Zone, Anime News Network, and several over sites [including this one]), the time and debut date was specified, and you, the Toonami faithful yourselves, never paid attention?!? For shame...

I hope things get explained as the series progresses.
This dub is another example of why Bandai isn't high on my "companies whose anime I purchase" list.
