Post subject: Setup information

| I was making a map for Battlezone II (its old, so don't ask) and to make the map work in the game, I have to put a setup information (.inf) file with some code which I don't understand. Does anyone know how to make a setup information file. If you do, please help! |

I'll get you what I can; my brother used to make maps for Dark Reign 2 (which uses the Battlezone 2 engine) maps.
Pandemic really needs to look into making Battlezone 3, either by use of revambing the BZ2 engine or borrowing someone elses (the Halo 2 engine would be fantastic for such a game). The Battlezone series has a lot of potential going for it, and it could sell hugely if Pandemic would work all the bugs out of their games before they release them instead of after.
Oh and Berserk Fury, you wouldn't happen to encourage base hovering, would you?
Edit: On second thought, you could just check out BZUnivers's FAQs or message boards for some help.

| base hovering doesn't work since 1.3 patch beta came out. By the way, I have Dark Reign 2 (I bought it in a pack of four games: Battlezone 2, Dark Reign 2, Heavy gear 2 and Quake 2) But I never actually got it to work. When I started it up, it asked me for some sort of code to run it. Everywhere I looked on the box, it didn't say anything about it, can you give me a hint on what was wrong? |

Sounds like they didn't put a key code on the box. Just google a keygen for it.

| I don't think that its a key like they usually put. It asked me for it after the game was installed. It looked like the game was used and they set some kind of password on it. Well, its worth a try anyway. |

if it's a cd it shouldn't matter if it's been used before.
