That's one of the few things wrong with LotR - Too much Arwen.

Well I went and saw it tonight because my brother insisted. It was pretty cool, I like Gimli XD. Too long though x.x Drinking a soda and sitting through a looong movie sucks when you can't find a place to go to the bathroom afterwards. There was a HUGE line at the theater, one of the bathrooms were closed at the mall, so I had to walk around for a while to find one. Graah.

Ummm . . . riiight. Didn't your parents tell you to go before you left? Laughing

Also, there is absolutely no way they could make the series on film without it being very long. I think that Fellowship was just long enough, and Two Towers should be even longer. I haven't seen it yet, though, so I can't truthfully judge. I never drink during a movie, nor do I usually eat. In the theater, it's more important to me that I catch as much as possible. This is also why I need someone else there who doesn't mind my comments.

*sigh* I really shouldn't have watched so much MST3K.

I know what you mean, they can't make a movie about that without it beign that long.... but some people can't sit still for that long, like half of my friends.

Well, pardon my interjection here, but your friends are likely younger folks who are accustomed to the MTV generation of quick blurbs of info and fast stories that are filled with violence and action and sex and not much else, and movies that only last for an hour and a half.

The Two Towers didn't feel like a 3 hour movie. I swear the time was up before I even knew it. Sure, it WAS long, but those of us who are mature enough to sit down and simply absorb themselves in such a sweeping and epic plot of LotR will enjoy it. Tell your friends to try reading the books sometime; it might teach them some much needed PATIENCE.

Life is NOT go go go quick drive thru all the time. Sometimes you just gotta sit down, clear your mind, and let a wonderful story carry you through it. Those that CAN'T do that with LotR don't deserve to see it; they are NOT who those films and books are for.

I only thought it was too long because I really needed to go to the bathroom. *shrugs*

Well, I wasn't refering to you, Tifa. I meant people who think that the movie is twice as long as it should be. It's a good movie (actually, I haven't seen it yet. But I'm gonna.). It should be long. Makes the enjoyment longer. But having to go the the bathroom oculd ruin it.

Not all furry stories and art are focused on sex. And I am moving on, that was my one and only necessary post about that topic. I might still be coming off too strong; I have no idea why this is. Suggestions are appreciated as to how I can improve my posts and make them more innocuous. PM with those suggestions, if you have any.

Actually, had nothing to do with the furry fetish (and I say fetish for lack of a better word). But you did once say on the old board how there should be no moral 'wrongs' in regard to sex. I believe you said something along the lines of 'everything goes.'
