For me it's the characters, and the fighting. First of all, the characters are hilarious, and even serious at times. That's a good thing. It helps the storyline along. There's the fighting. It's diverse and interesting because all of the Momodos have different powers. I got into this show late but, it's definitely one of my favorite shows right now.

The other blantantly suck with the winds of a million bagless hoovers.
I dislike Zatch Bell mainly because of the american VAs, with secondary honors going to the plot and your always underpoweredsupercharatersthatcanalwaysbeatthebadguy(1 word) that the plot forces them into.

If I lose this match Zatch dies, even though my opponent can kick my ass. I will quickly formulate a completly retarded plan that will work in the end and defeat the bad guy!

Zatch Bell is okay.
I don't even have to say this but it is not one of the best shows ever shown on Toonami..

I think its a pretty good show. The voice actors match their characters pretty well and it can humerous which is always great. The story is not much at the moment really. But I like how they read spells from a spell book to do the attacks. The fight scenes are pretty well done, although the plans this smartest kid from school are really not that complicated or long to think about. I hope they actually show he has intelligence later in the series.

| Zatch Bell is combination of Pokemon and Shaman King. Overall, the show is great. Stories are great, are not two-parters (which can be good thing at times.) |

I don't get to watch Toonami much because I don't get it at home, but I did happen to catch an episode last Saturday. It seems like a really fun series. Since I only saw the one episode, I really don't know much about the characters (And I can only remember two of the characters names, sorry!). I was very happy, however, to discover what I did about the characters that I remember. Folgore, for example, may be full of himself- but despite that isn't really a bad guy. He does care about others. Zatch Bell has empathy for others, and points out things his (caster person??) may not have thought of.
For what I've seen, it doesn't seem bad. I may be tempted to try and catch another episode soon.

The game looks pretty interesting too. It's a fighter, but built around the teams in the series. The preview I saw seems to really capture the dynamics of the duels in the series.

| I only saw one episode of it. It looks good, the art seems okay. The voices annoy me though, so I keep away from it. Lol. |

| All in all, I thinks its a good show. The voice actors aren't annoying, and they actually seem to fit each character well. It does have some edits(like the machine guns or whatever they were in ep. 2 being turned into horrid looking "laser" guns), but none like the ridiculous One Piece edits(like Don Krieg's posionous suction cup darts). If Toonami doesn't axe this one before it reaches it's stride, it's got potential. |
