What a cop out. How to ruin an entire series with one episode. Well FMA does it as well with their last episode.(remember people no spoilers for those who havent watched). But Eva we have all seen and its last episode really makes you go "WTF?!"
This is pretty much exactly how I feel about Evangelion. However, I'm like the only person in existence who liked the last episode of FMA.

There are things that can be said to justify the last episode of FMA. And it can fit into the feeling of the entire series. Plus it leads into the movie, which I'm still waiting on news of being dubbed or fansubbed.
So it can be justified as showing why alchemy exists. Plus the whole idea of "For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction"
But NGE episode 26?! Nope. Sorry won't happen. The only excuse is that its a japanese ending.

- Fullmetal Alchemist Movie "The Conqueror of Shambala" licensed and set for DVD release on Oct. 3rd, along with the final FMA TV DVD (FMA goes to monthly release starting August to get everything out), and hints of a possible theatrical release as well
