Y'know this poll isn't fair to those of us who can wear shorts in December thanks to the glories of the desert.

TWWK <--- wearing shorts as we speak - it was freakin over 85 degrees here today!

oh, and I love hot chocolate (bought some today in preparation for winter, if it ever comes), and like Tifa...or HLB...I enjoy ice cream when it's cold (or when it's hot, or for breakfast, or pretty much whenever)

it's bad with fast food, but it goes way beyond it too. you work any job you don't really like long enough and you will hate everything about it. I still haven't walked into a Robinsons-May since I left in Aug of 2000. I can't stand that place. Macy's all the way for me.

I live in Vegas, and I can't wear shorts in the desert. Anyway, I do long for a friend's four-alarm chili in early February, when approximately half of the leaves have fallen.

And FDD, you're not a desert person until you consitently wear long pants when it's 105. I'm not kidding. Over the past year, I have worn shorts for a total of four hours. That one instance was as a joke, and it was uncomfortably chilly.

Coffee, my secret weapon against thirst. Delicious. Unfortunatly I haven't been able to find my favorite brand of coffee for about three years. I miss that coffee dearly. I haven't found anythign to replace it.

hmmm, maybe, just maybe. no... wait... YES! I shall go buy specialty coffee (well I count that Kona coffee as specialty seeing how its more than likely not the typical grocery store stuff)

I never liked chili, I've always thought it was nasty...

Oh I do consider myself a desert person when my cousin's quad broke down with me, on the the bottom of a river bed, in July, while it's 125 degrees, and 30 miles away from civilization. God water was soo good the rest of the day, and don't call me unlucky or unfortunate.

I'm going to go with Cadbury's Dairy Milk chocolate. Rain or shine, hot or cold, I love chocolate whenever. And now I want some, but the shops are either closed or too far away, and it actually IS raining. Gah!

I'll one up you on that - you're not a real desert person until you wear a winter coat in 120 degree heat, which is a very common thing in Egypt

All you heat freaks, I burn up at about 95 degrees, I'd kick your ass in cold weather though, It's 35 degrees outside and I walked around with a short-sleeved t-shirt and blue jeans.

I think that one of my favorites is chili.
