Post subject: Berserk - One of best animations ever

I been sitting here for around 5 mins trying to put into words how good that berserk is... but i simply cant. Be warned you may read this and think its just your typical anime.. but if anyone has watched Dragon Ball Z and likes Vegeta I will tell you right now you will like this storys main character, Gatts.
Id tell you so many things about it but first one word sums it up... AMAZING
The story line is amazing focusing on a character called Gatts,
however its in jap (subtitled) its amazing characters are realy into the plot. In this series you dont feel anything because its subtitled... its like you are able to read the text without actualy taking your eyes away from movie as well (dont know how to make that make much more sense)
I have already bought the hole DVD set of the 25 episodes.
I think the main reason why berserk hasnt been a big hit over here is because the 1st episode was crap... dont stop reading... the 1st episode has NOTHING at all to do with rest of series. Once you watch episode 1 u think this sux, epsiode 2 - hmm lot better, episode 3 - good, episode 4- you cant stop watching... before you know your fixed its just a a brillant story.
Its set in the past.. lots of sword fighting, blood, and a small love story behind it.
The reason for this is for me to ask yourself (toonanime) to put this on.
Its 25 episodes wont take long to air them and if you do im positive you will enjoy it (think im wrong... watch it yourselfs first as i know you will agree with me after watching it).
Well hope you give it a go.
All the best.

Absolutely no way in HFIL could this air on a Toonami timeslot.
It's also a bit too intense for AS.
(Yes, I've seen the whole series.)
P.S. We're not affilliated with Cartoon Network in any way, but thanks for asking. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

i didnt ask anything about cartoon network
whats to intense ... it wasnt even that bad at all. Ive seen films on cnx worse than berserk around 10 tbh.
Berserk isnt realy the gruesome its no worse than dragon ball z... it would most likley need to be aired sometime after 9pm since its certificate is 15 years and over... but apart from that i believe its fine since cnx have movies which have been 18+ i believe. |

So, you're in the UK, I take it?
US Cartoon Network standards are a lot stricter. It wouldn't fly here. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

2 things. First, don't call Toonami "toon anime". It's not, it's an action cartoon block. Also, you put this in the wrong forum. Just so you know, this belongs in Toonami Discussion. I'll give you 24 hours to see this, and hten I'll move this thread over to Toonami Discussion.
Other than that, Welcome to TDA. _________________ anime is teh s uck

Yeah dont call it Toon Anime. Man did I get a new one ripped for that little mistake. Which explains Zoids (which i happen to like), Thundercats, Justice Leaque and other shows that dont seem to fit being on there.
Now calling it Toonactionblockami seems to be ok _________________ Certified Narutard |

*Notices the series was licensed by Media Blasters*
Well, they brought over Rurouni Kenshin to CN. It seems possible that they might bring over some more series if the relationship between the two companies goes along nicely.
And as for the series being "a bit too intense" for Adult Swim, they can make some minor edits to it here and there. It would make an excellent AS series. _________________ Toonami visual schedule - UPDATED AUGUST 2, 2015 |

Until they got to the last two episodes, then the whole thing would fall apart...and that's not taking the cliffhanger ending into account. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis
