We are fucked. Why did we end up with Bush? What the hell is he trying to do? He's only made life worse for the world, and I can't even decide if it's worse here or abroad. In both realms his policies are atrocious. We are suffering for him.

Saddam has to go, done deal. But the way it's being handled now, without resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict first, seems far too much like a diversion tactic by the current US Administration against their terrible domestic policies.

I know what bugs me most: we are making a big fat hairy deal over the fact that 20-ish American soldiers have died, then we note that 27 Brits have died/been captured, and off-handedly mention that we killed ~2000 Iraqis. But we really, REALLY need to mourn for our lost troops.
Also, we get mad at Iraq for not playing by the "rules of war," and lambaste the commentators who notice a similarity between Iraqi defiance and that of the Minutemen in the Revolutionary War. Meanwhile, those with reasoning skills can't think of a more cost-effective means of fighting an overwhelming enemy.
Thirdly, we at least seem to be getting over the fact that a few people can hate the war, without that hatred carrying over to those people who were sent over without direct consultation, many of whom don't want the war themselves. It's still "disrespectful" to not support the risking of human lives for a cause you didn't ask for in the first place, but it's no longer a lynchable offense. _________________ Krogoth uses Berserk.

I actually support this war believe it or not. All you have to do is weigh the pros and cons.
Con-After this many nations are going to hate us, our troops are going to face loses, there will be unavoidable civilian casualties, and it's costing us a shitload of cash.
Pro-We will be taking down one of the most hateful and evil governments in the middle east, ending a holocaust, preventing a possible attacks from WMD, hopefully stimulating the ecomnomy that the current administration ruined, we will be resecuring valuable oil fields and putting them in the hands of more capable hands, and training our troops for much tougher battles ahead if and when N. Korea continues threatenting us.

It seems like most of the pros are either immediate things (economy), or are things that benefit us and only us (oil). And it seems like most of the cons are that this makes things worse in the future (gov't has less cash after this, as if they don't alreayd have a deficit) and that we are ruining foreign policy.
