You think the show will ever get onto Toonami or Adult Swim?
They will be airing Season Two soon, I still was disappointed that Season One was only 14 episodes long. I have been watching a dub of it, it sounds pretty good.

Haruhi just does not have the super wide main-stream appeal that would bring it to AS. Agreed with all said- I think it's an outstanding anime though. It's in my top 5 favorite. Poor Mikiru.. :s They are making a season 2? I did not know that..

The quality is at/above the minimum for [AS]. I am very impressed with the English dub to this point.
The real problem is the content and story line. It does not clearly fall into either comedy or action, making it hard to place in the lineup. Poor Mikiru is, by definition in some states, raped for lack of a more P.C. term; which is much more than [AS] has ever shown. Lastly, I think the order it would likely be shown is chronologically. While it makes more sense, it loses its schizophrenic nature that made the broad cast order amusing but much harder to follow. The comedy is a bit low-key compared to most of [as]'s other comedies (and certainly more high-brow than most ). There is no real action component in the series.
