I saw X2 today. Remember the first one? It's all that and a bag of chips. It was better than the first. And the first was PHENOMINAL. Honestly, I found no flaws in this movie, unlike Spiderman where there were some things wrong (and Spiderman is my favorite superhero).
Plus, the ending of this one sets up the next movie beautifully. And so many cool characters (*BAMF* Nightcrawler! *BAMF*). This movie was worth every penny. And the computer animation. Shitmonkey. So beautiful. And so much of it. My eyes were glued to the screen for the entire time. *crys* sooooo gooooood . . . .
On the negative side, the Hulk trailer before hand looked crappy. The Hulk doens't move realistically at all. But hte Matrix trailer rocked my boxers. _________________ anime is teh s uck

Yeah it was so good I got out of school on friday just to go see it. The only problem: Now I have to wait for the next movie because of the ending. _________________ There is limited intelligence in the galaxy, but the stupidity of the universe is infinite. |

Beatdigga, for those of us who know the story line how many more hints of her turning into Phoniex could they have given us? And will they do the Dark Phoenix or normal phoenix saga first? |

Officaly, anyway. Considering the returns, and the ending, it'd be crazy not to do a sequel. _________________ Sometimes I miss my sanity- Wedge Antilles |

Do we have a spoiler thread where we can discuss why we think this without ruining it for others? |

Fodder: Just put a big ***SPOILERS!*** before any spoilers.
Beat and Spook: While work hasn't BEGUN on X3, there is a contract for both X3 and X4. We do know at least part of the plot for X3 because of the ending of this one.
***SPOILERS***
I was SO ashamed I didn't catch on sooner. Once it was clear she was going to die I was like "PHEONIX!!! WICKED COOL!" while the rest of the audience was like "AHH! How can they kill her off?!?!?!" But, at the same time, I was dissapointed I didn't catch onto it when her eyes flared red an hour before hand. It's been too long since I watched the animated series. _________________ anime is teh s uck

*** SPOILERS ****
Well the first time she pushed her powers to far the eyes got red. The second time, part of the red sea, she turned entirely red. Then the wings under the water at the end and her speech about evolution nailed it. But are we going to see the Dark Phoenix saga first? Or her building up to Dark Phoneix?
I forgot that Lady Deathstrike had healing powers like Logan. That came as a huge suprise and led me to thinking
"Okay now hows he going to win"
Although I knew the adamantium was there for some reason. But Im guessing the way it was pumped into her and her being dropped into the tank. Means this isnt the last we will see of her.
Who was the mutant kid who blinked and changed the TV channels? In fact can anyone name most of the student kids? The girl screaming reminded me of Banshee. But that was Scotts brother and not some little girl. I saw Shadowcat several times. And she was even mentioned at the end.
"Lets just say I know a girl who can walk through walls"
Holes -
Colussus didnt speak russian. Though the 3d of his going mettalic was F'ing awesome
Why didnt Storm part the sea or stop the flow of water at the end? It should have been her job not Jeans. And did it feel to you that Storm was there to fill in plot points more then anything else?
Did you notice -
Dr Hank Mcoy makes a cameo
And although I didnt see it. EW says Arkangels wings are in the scene in Strikers lab. I have the MPEG. I will have to go back and spot them.
This one was several times more violent then the first. And actually showed blood in Wolverines scene vs Deathstrike. |

X-Men is nothin' without the Card-Throwing Stick Wielding Cajun. Serioulsly, can you imagine how great his attacks would look with CG. _________________ Bang. |

ph33r Magneto and his L337 steel balls!
And yes, Gambit needs to make an appearence. And McCoy will come to kick a$$ as well. And that one girl who has the ability to put on a 4th of July show nowhere near as spectacular as the bombing of Baghdad can rot in diseased monkey hell. _________________ Ice cream has this erotic sense to it- kinda like the one choclate and strawberries have.

Um....Jubilee?
I think that was it, she really did suck. Her power was more like shooting sparkles at people. Who was the black buy with the really big gun from the future? _________________ Bang. |
