No. (I['m to tired at the moment to answer the previously asked questions, that['ll wait for tommarow. _________________ "Veni. Vedi. Spooki." - Julius Caesar

Oh, I actually have a good one: What was the first anime ever?
Hakujaden in 1958, from Toei was the first "anime movie". Manga Calendar in 1962 from Otogi was the first anime series. Tetsuwan Atom (Astroboy) in 1963 missed being the first series by several months but was the first with a ongoing cast (plus it hit the mainstream like a storm and so Osamu Tezuka is considered the founding father of anime for having such a huge success. _________________ "Veni. I'm thinking about 241 shorts/movies I know that's not right on the button, but I'm pretty sure it's close. _________________ "Veni. Vedi. Spooki." - Julius Caesar

Not to crowd you with too many question but I got one.
Who or what company was the first to use or invent Cel animation?
Oh, now this a fun question.
Winsor McCay is considered the creative father of animation but Ray Randolph Bray is technological father. _________________ "Veni. Vedi. Spooki." - Julius Caesar

Stumped ya! They actually wrote a program for this scene, which gives each of the 50,000 characters their own A.I. The whole thing is random. They make one model, then copy it 50,000 times, and adjust the height, dirty-ness, aggression, intelligence, etc. of each one. Then there is an A.I. that is set up so that, depending on their individual attributes, they are inclined to make certain decisions, though, like real people, they don't always follow that. They have motions set up with each decision, makeing them fight different ways, climb ladders, die different ways, etc. They even follow all of the laws of physics. The people just put all the models in, and let it run. The whole scene is random. They have to just use trial and error to see which is best, and then use that one for the movie.
For making the motions, they used guys in those special suits so that they could track their motions and such. So you where part right. Heh, this question was unfair though, since this has only been used in this movie, and I doubted that you ahd read about it yet.
In case you want to look into it, the program that set up the A.I.s is called Massive.
And I can't think of any more questions just yet. I'll get back to you on that.
Finky foo. That's definitly an interesting way to do that. I wouldn't have thought about that (and obviously didn't ) Go CP!

So in gamers terms, they made a program with a bunch of bots, and had them duke it out?
Nice.
Okay, here's a question:
During the 1980's, what animated series recieved the higest ratings? American animation.
Post-1948 Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies is suposed to be the highest rated Saturday morning television program of all time. Outside of Saturday morning I'd say Simpsons/Flintstones are close too. I'm really not to sure on this one. _________________ "Veni. Vedi. Spooki." - Julius Caesar

Yatta! I figured you'd know just about all of the different techniques used for various animation ecxept for ones that are just being used for the first time. Now, about that cookie I was promised . . . _________________ anime is teh s uck

I'm pretty sure it's Sazae-san. It's got over 1000 episodes. Simpsons is the longest runing animated series in America, really the only country that counts anyway damnit. _________________ "Veni. Vedi. Spooki." - Julius Caesar

Damnit, I was sure you wouldn't get that one since almost no one, even in anime circles, knows of Sazae-san. Which now has around 1500+ eps btw. The simpsons are a far cry from alot of anime that have been running for more than a decade.
....you sure you didn't search for the answer to this one? _________________ Bang.

Try running it in a different display mode, such as software or Direct 3d, or change the display size, also depending on your system try updating your video drivers/bios/directx _________________ The problem with America is stupidity.
