Post subject: Toonami Reactor comeback?
|
|
|
|
First off, heya, I'm new!
Next, I noticed today that Toonami Reactor has posted an episode of Patlabor. Could this mean that there will be more? Back when it was running, Reactor ruled, and it would be awesome if it made a comeback. _________________ Yarrr! |

Nope. The Reactor is dead. PatLabor aired on the Reactor when it was alive.
Even though the Reactor is dead, every download that was put on that site is still accessible. This is very old and nothing special. |

So that thing is still kick'n around eh?
They could really revive it. Maybe put Kenshin on it. That would certainly draw a following. _________________ Toonami > sliced cheese (and I really like chees) |

Thats odd. Damned odd. I hope they bring back the reactor because now I actually have Broadband and a computer that can run Real Player.(P166 not very good for streaming media) |

Wha? How do you get to all the old downloads? I'd really like to finish RoLW: CotFK. _________________ This space left intentionally blank.

You're gonna need Internet Explorer or another web browser that allows pop-ups to do this. Reactor is a pop-up site, so if you have Firefox or something like that, it won't work (it'll just redirect you to Toonami.com's main page instead).
Go to this site: http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/toonami/reactor
When it loads, click the "Initiate" button, then click "Extras." |

There never was such a thing.
Instead, the plan changed into Adult Swim Pipeline. It was a short-lived attempt to cross-promote AS and Shonen Jump. It didn't work out too well, unfortunately. |

If it were ever called it then yes there was such a thing it was just renamed and considering that is what they frickin announced it as in the first place don't you eva tell me there wasn't such a thing. bitch.
anyway, it's a shame they halted Toonami's so ASR could go online. It really would be nice if it came back. |

ASR was something different from ASP, though.
ASR was basically going to be a spinoff of Toonami Reactor, with downloadable anime episodes and the like, except with more "mature" shows.
Since Pipeline was more manga-related, there never was an AS Reactor. |

In the end, Reactor was a failed experiment, destined for destruction... _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

Thats a shame it died. It had reintroduced me to Star Blazers again. Again to which i say things like Robotech and Starblazers as well Tranzor should be appearing on Boomerang. Now that Gforce is on there is even a better reason |

I could handle that, if I had Boomerang.
Unfortunately Robotech is going to be on Anime Network when they launch their linear feed next month, along with G-Force (Boomerang has Battle of the Planets). _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S.
