If you are the "God of Death", then do what you do best. Note that you are not the "God of Killing/Murder/Slaughter". _________________ "KUSANAGI!"

As far as I know, the only physical downside to eating humans is chemical imbalance if you eat too much brain. Come on, people, it's not like I'm going to eat you RAW. Would you eat your pot roast without cooking it? Yes, bacteria ARE killed by heat. Yeesh.
As for the "It's Icky" philosophy, that's just your parents/religion/society talking. Can anyone who's read Stranger in a Strange Land say otherwise? Once a person is dead, he/she ain't gonna need the body anymore. No zombie sightings have ever been confirmed. _________________ Krogoth uses Berserk.

Get over it. If a mod changed your post, it was probably for a good reason. Maybe you should reconsider your posting style.
As far as the cannibalism, it'd have to be really "life-or-death" desperate, like those soccer players in the Andes, for me to consider it. Going to McDonald's is so much easier. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

No no, YOU can go to hell.
Back to the human flesh thing, I'd actually be interested in trying it. Of course, I don't intend to promote "farming" of this type, I would like to keep it on a "donations only" basis (there are a few induhviduals I wouldn't mind "donating" though . . .). But, even so, I have no emotional problem with eating humans. It's really no different than any other animal once it's dead. After all, he's not using the body any more. Right?

We're just meat. You know why re survived this long though? No, not becuase of our brains - that thing took a very VERY long time to develop. It's because we taste bad. That and we can do mad immitations. Tasting bad and being able to impersonate feircer animals is what kept us alive so while I would try human kabob I am not expecting to be taken to flavor country. _________________ "Veni. Vedi. But if we only taste bad, the only difference would be that the beasts with sharp pointy teeth would spit out the mangled corpse at approximately the time that it's too late to save said corpse? Simply tasting bad would not prevent an animal without conscious thought from eating something. It certainly wouldn't stop an entire species from doing so.
Rather, I think that we weren't all et because we burn too much energy. With all the running around chasing grubs and herbivores, early hunter-gatherer man would likely have been the Lo-Fat BocaBurger of prehistoric times. Plus, we put up more of a fight than the local dying zebra analogs. Very few carnivores feed upon other carnivores, because the fuel received gets lower as the food chain gets higher, because running down prey burns calories, but it don't take much energy to sneak up on a leaf. (Of course, in the sea, the energy required for motion is much less, so the food chain can get longer before breaking) In addition to the physical act of running, we tend to burn a lot of calories in the upper reaches. Modern humans send ~25% of their blood flow to the head, so we use more energy than herbivores, and probably as much per pound as most carnivores. Thus, hunting humans never was evolutionarily viable. _________________ Krogoth uses Berserk.
