Actually..... Superman isn't that wealthy, last I checked.

.I wasn;t confusing the two..but doesn't superman have that underwtaer aquiriam at his base thingy so i assumed he was rich even though he has a low paying job...
yes goku would win very easily...lol

| first off, supes make his basey thing by hand (super hand) and secondly goku would have one heck of a time with pre-crisis superman and thirdly could this top[ic please die? I don't want to have to kill it by hand. |

Superman would just fuse with Bizarro Superman (or an alternate dimension Superman) and form Super Superman. Even if Goku could have beaten the normal Superman with one finger, Super Superman will be able to take Goku's most powerful attacks without even flinching.
Eight episodes later, Goku with find some way to become more powerful and defeat Super Superman.
(Note: I haven't read every post in this thread, so I don't know if someone else came up with something as witty.)

I agree wholely with Collegebum...super man would get his ass handed to him...simple as that. Noone can really touch DBZ characters...I mean on 'power level 5000' they can blow up planets...just imagine what they could do when they trun super...a lot more then blow up a planet. Vegeta could blow up a planet before he came to earch and he was weak then....at the end of DBZ they should be able to annihalte an entire galaxy, plus the thingy about being able to travle faster then the speed of light(king kai saif it and im not talking about IT)....conclusion is superman would just be deaded...yes i said deaded...because I didn't feel like saying killed and then he would be dead...so i said deaded.

The hell he can! Crap superpowers that were made up on the spot ala Golden Age Superman don't count as real powers. Especially one with no scientific basis at all.

it doesn't really matter, Goku is Goku, Super man is crap strong compared to Goku ...Superman can travel 'faster then a speeding bullet' Goku however can travel faster the speed of light.
...Neither characters powers are scientifically proveable, but If you match both powers together Goku's power outway supermans power by FAR.

and what is stopping goku from doing it? just because he doesn't realize flying around the earth really fast can make time go backwards doesn't mean he can't
