| And Initial D season 1 is out? I guess I'll try and get that soon. How does it look anyway? |
Well, it's basically the exact same TokyoPop discs in a fold-out digipak with the same ghetto English dub w/replaced music and crappy visual tricks. But it was a cheap pre-order and the Japanese sound and video tracks are unmolested.
Although it still looks like a 10-year-old show. |
That is a little disappointing to hear. And I knew about the dub, I picked up the 1st DVD and heard it... I never thought I would find a worst dub then Love Hina... but I was wrong. _________________ "I'm just very selective about the reality I choose to accept." - Calvin

Ghost in the Shell - SAC Official Log DVD/Guide Book
The Official Log is interesting... but I think it could have done without the DVD. It just seems to cover the same stuff as the book does. _________________ "I'm just very selective about the reality I choose to accept." - Calvin

Ah yes, good old EGM. I've been reading that one for...12 years?! As for Nintendo Power, I used to enjoy it back when the SNES was still considered "next-gen". Unfortunately, it lacks the punch of EGM, mostly since it's articles seem bland in comparison(usually since they're toned down/made simpler for younger readers). It does usually have exclusive content each month(like a few exclusive screens for a Nintendo game, or info on upcoming first/third party software), though. Enjoy! _________________ "No, I told you that your posts showed that you lacked intelligence. That's the opposite of telling you that you are right."-counterparadox |

I let my EGM lapse when I stopped playing games (like 3 years after) but I picked up one and a Nintendo Power when I saw the covers proclaim Wii Previews!
Then after buying them, I rushed to get subs out of blind passion for my Wii and DS.
Caught up in the moment I suppose. _________________ JKyle.com (Because bad things happen to good people)
