For fans of Batman:TAS Heart of Ice is considered one of the hallmarks of the series. Its considered one of the better plots and animation of the series. It set a trend for the Freeze character that gave it a new life after Arnuld ruined it.
Then i saw the new Freeze on The Batman this weekend. And i really want to like this show. I need a reason to keep watching it. I like the new Alfred. I like the new Penguin and even Catwomen. But after only seeing three episodes I saw how are new toyorific Batman series completly killed freeze. Making him into a common thug. Why take all the time and effort Paul Dini and crew took into making Victor the troubled character he was into this reversion to Batman and Robin?!
I havent seen the new Joker episodes yet. And after seeing this excuse for Batman yesterday im a little worried that they will kill that to.

I watched a few episodes and I can tell you, this is about the only thing that reminds me of watching Saturday Mornings before it was infested with anime and kiddy shows. I meant, even CBS had Action Zone and ABC with Gargoyles. |

Ok i know what your saying. But do you think the show works? Do you think its a good addition when you put it up against all the other Batman properties before it? |

Yeah, the new character designs are... odd. I haven't watched it all the way through an ep but I could care less for it. Just, not the same batman I grew up with. |

Im still most disappointed over the change with Freeze. Why kill a good story line? Is it because your afraid the new audience will sympathize with an enemy? That we have to have black and white and no gray? If thats the case there is no hope for a series like this. |

Sympathy for an enemy? I have that all the time, I was the only person in the cinema sobbing my heart out when they killed Godzilla. In batman Beyond when Freeze decided the world would be better off without him and he said thatTerry would eb the only one who cared if he was gone? That made me SO sad. I always sympathise with them too much _________________ rednekbob9: 1: You're Female

Actually thats not true at all anymore. I have been watching some animes and there has been plenty of death on TV.
Of course if you wanted to be morbid all the Cobras and Joes who ejected from their helos would have been decapitated |

Batman's voice is something else that's changed. It's gonna take a while to get used to, and the Joker doesn't even laugh the same any more!! What's up with that? _________________ "Charles Xaiver did more for mutants than you could ever know. My only regret is that he had to die for our dream to live." -Magneto, X Men3:The Last Stand |

I havent seen the joker episode yet. And im sure that it will be one of the ones that help define what they are trying to do with the series. Because without Mark Hammils laugh it just isnt the same. |

I thought they'd have to TRY to screw up a Batman cartoon, so it's appropriate that the people that do actually try to screw themselves up would be the ones to do it. _________________ I am Jack's Fight Club reference. |

Its also been shown at some odd hours even during the afternoons. IT seems like they want to push it but havent found out what group to target.
Now Teen Titans season one wasnt a winner either. And i'm going to be a good batfan and give the show the benefit of the doubt |
