There's another one: Overindulged-Fantasy Boy. His superpower is that he cannot remove himself from whatever ego-induced fantasy world he has thrust himself into.
O-F Boy: "I'm Naruto! Look at my headband. I'm wearing it because I'm Naruto!" *lifts up shirt to reveal a badly Sharpied-on spiral and squiggle lines* "See that? That's where the fox demon in sealed up. In my belly. Because I'm Naruto!"
*authorities turn firehose on him*

Wha?... how exactly? How does the obvious incredible popularity of the anime stop it from being licensed in the US. My guess was just that the studio that has the rights to sell was just waiting for it to finish airing, so that they might get a higher price for it.

Possibly because these people steal it and so the potential buyers don't think there will be as much of a profit?

So, in other words, the more popular an anime is, the less likely it is to come to America. Considering how screwed up the media is, that deosn't surprise me.

meh. it's all business. if the japanese demend to much money then the american companies just won't buy it. Media has nothing to do with it.
And it's not so much the popularity but how publicly and loudly the popularity is screamed. 90% of people doing naruto cosplay at american anime cons SCREAMS out to the japanese that hey, they want it and they want it BAD. So as I said it's your own damn fault. |

...why do people cosplay anyway....it just wow...Its funny but, i dunno I would never do it. I respect them though because they have a lot of guts to be able to do that.lol

Ya thast very true, A lot of people choose characters that are no where near their body type, and it looks wrong (no offense to anyone)
