Most aquisitions get a two year contract. My guess is long series get renewed every time a new batch of episodes comes. They may keep renewing DBZ forever if its cheap enough.
Ronin Warriors, Reboot, Sailor Moon, Tenchi, Outlaw Star, and everything before those that Time Warner doesn't own would need to be renewed to get them back on Toonami (which they probably wouldn't do because kids don't like old stuff).
I'm reallying missing all those other Gundam series...
Right now CN only has the rights to 3 series.
G Gundam - which will be gone pretty soon unless its renewed and I wouldn't be on it
SD Gundam - which has a new season coming sometime in the near future
and...
Gundam SEED - which is THE Gundam this year
Chances are we might see Zeta on CN but not likely for quite some time and only if Bandai thinks it will work. UC Gundams haven't done well anywhere on CN... so my guess is that it may never come. _________________ Toonami > sliced cheese (and I really like chees)

even though they've showed it twice through, I still would like Outlaw Star back. Gundam Wing was cooler but I have the box set so that doesn't matter to me. But Outlaw Star had gun fights, mech fights, space fight, sword fights, every kind of fighting imaginible. well...disregarding the horrible edits and cuts they took from all of the series listed...I would say Tenchi Muyo/Universe (Even though they butchered this anime with edits and digital paint), Outlaw Star (Although your better off buying the Box Set and downloading the episode they cut from the series which really pissed me off because it ties so much to the plot), 08th MS Team, DBZ (uncut for a change...I can only stand hearing "blast it!" for so long)...
