Wow, I'm a little weirded out. Someone guessed it. (No, not you Spook.)
And it came way out of left feild too. Man, I was expecting at least a 4 more clues but oh, there it is. And the reason I'm freaked out is that Alshoff came out of NOWHERE and got it right. Little scary . . .
But congrats to Alshoff, he got it right.

First clue: That you've all heard the name: You all know Nick(elodeon) and Saint Nick, AKA Santa Clause.
Second clue: That the name is also a word. To nick something is to cut it.
Thrid clue: The name is associated with something everyone likes. Presents. Again with the Saint Nick thing, Christmas kicks ass and presents kick ass whether giving or getting.
