WHO...CC has MG2: Substance, I wish i knew that was an expansion of Sons of LIberty before I payed $5 for it.

Anyway Metal Gear 3: Snake Eater in November Very Happy cant wait.

I do have a question thow, what happen to Mearel(sp?) in the 2nd Metal Gear.

Just for your information, I'd suggest using the full "Metal Gear Solid" rather than Metal Gear, as there are previous games simple entitled "Metal Gear." This won't cause any confusion then. Wink

i went to my circuit city around 1:30 today just to see if they had anything there concerning the $4.99 deal, and they basically had a beat-up cardboard box with whatever leftovers remained...while wading through multiple copies of "iron man" for the gameboy and "the scorpion king" for all systems, i actually came across a few decent buys and snagged four games that looked worthy of a $5 investment:

{PS1}
- Tekken 3 (Greatest Hits)
- WWF Smackdown 2: Know Your Role (Greatest Hits)

{PS2}
- Airblade
- Robotech: Battlecry

while i'm not expecting stellar gameplay, for five bucks a pop it's hard to go wrong...

thanks for posting the info daikun...

The only thing I didn't like about the PS2 version is that it dropped frame rates very low in multiplayer mode which was very annoying.

Yea, the game play was good, but the multi player kind of blew. Besided Halo, its hard to find a game with a good story mode and a kick ass multi player. I remeber PERFECT DARKS was awsom. The AI was smart as hell in the game play to. Unlike a lot of the more recent first person shooters that have come out.

I got it yesterday. Gleee! I wish they wouldn't outline the characters so heavily, though. It makes them look sprite-ish.

I love ToS soo much, but y'know it got me thinking. I get this strange thought of Kratos yelling out "Snake!!!!!!!!!!!!" and Lloyd yelling out "Slade!!!!!!!!" for some odd reason >.>

I absolutely adore the battle system. Tales of Phantasia was stunning for that reason, particularly for an RPG. ToS takes that and adds another dimension, team tactics, the ability to change the controlled character, and much more fluid control of the teammates' AI.

Oh, yeah, and Noishe is my favorite character.

Just got ToS after renting it once. By the way, if you have Zelos, set him as your avatar and then talk to any female NPC. Even the 6 year old female NPCs. Why? Simple. They give you free stuff. In Meltokio alone I got over 2000 Gald, a Rune Bottle, Miracle Gels, and a whole bunch of other stuff.

And the battle system is great. Combos are fun. Current high is 35. I can get to 13 with just Lloyd, and would have had some higher combos if the enemies didn't die first . . .
