Inuyasha must be one of the best anime out there.
So I would like to talk about with other fans.
Got some questions for you.
Who is your favorite character?
Favorite special move? (like the wind scar and ext...)
Favorite weapon?
Mine are
Sango

Personally, I can not STAND InuYasha. I can almost kinda see how people could like it, but I honestly don't like it at all. It's just so cliche. Oooh, a character with an overly poweful right hand...I guess nobody's ever heard of Hellboy or Trigun. But whatever lol I guess it's kinda ok. _________________ I am Jack's Fight Club reference. |

Well yeah, because obviously those powers are all soooooooooo similar.
And the love triangle between a guy, his first love, and her reincarnation has sooooooooo been done before. _________________ JKyle.com (Because bad things happen to good people)

No, THAT part isn't cliche, it's just lame and convoluted, but I was hoping I could criticize something I don't care for and at least be civil about it. I guess some people just can't handle a little criticism. Frankly, you're lucky you cought me in my civil criticism mood, I could have ripped the show apart. _________________ I am Jack's Fight Club reference. |

Go for it.
Let's see some actual criticism instead of something more fit for an AIM chatroom.
You specifically pointed out the right hand thing by pointing out three characters that have absolutely nothing in common. It was a bit like saying you don't like FF7 because Cloud has spiked hair like Goku. _________________ JKyle.com (Because bad things happen to good people)

I was deliberately trying NOT to start a flame war. I was simply giving my informed opinion (yes, I do actually WATCH the show most times it's on) of the show while not going into a rant that would've pissed off possibly the majority of the forum. I happen to not like the show, and I gave ONE example of why (which WAS valid, whether you see the comparison or not) so as not to come off as some ignorant bastard who randomly posts things like "cobwoy bbop sux u dum retrads," but I guess some people can't take polite criticism of ONE show they like. And if you ARE so obsessed with ANY show that an intentionally mild criticism like the one I gave actually offended you, you frankly need to get a life anyway and stop trying to make people feel stupid because they actually have an opinion. _________________ I am Jack's Fight Club reference. |

We know you're not like that. There's nothing wrong with being honest, and well-reasoned criticism should always be welcomed.
People who take offense need to remember that:
one person's opinion = one person's opinion.
No more, no less.
For the record, I find Inu-Yasha (what little I've seen of it) incredibly average. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

I'm not looking for a flame war. Simply ACTUAL critisism rather than a one note shot that makes no sense.
I wasn't offended by your "opinoin" merely annoyed that you think a half assed "I don't like it" is going to do. You can not like it without ever posting a word. I don't need to get a life as you so elequently put it, I need to see some actual criticism before I stop labelling your childish put downs for what they are.
To me, you came off exactly how you tried not to come off. Granted, you did it with better spelling. For that at least I'm thankful.
I don't need to be personlly attacked for asking for actual substance instead of a nonsensical attack. _________________ JKyle.com (Because bad things happen to good people)
